Chris Andersen deserves it. Performed the hell out of that mid-season tryout.

Drew should gladly pilfer $12,000,000 out of Dan Gilbert's pockets if his legs are truly Gregory Oden status and call it a day.

I'd die if he put up 15 and 10 next year playing 60+ games.

Knowing Philadelphia fans, his homecoming treatment would be worse than Bron.

I hope Warriors play Dray Day more than Speights. Rockets won't be as good as their hype. Warriors will be as good as last year.. maybe better. People concentrating too much on the Iggy deal and forgetting Curry and Barnes went on a tear during the playoffs this year. I doubt the players their signing now will see a lot of PT

Promise to god I remember reading midseason last year that bynum had degenerating(Sp?) knees that don't get better, they just keep deteriorating over time.

Which is why I honestly felt like he was going to hang it up. The fact that he's still trying to have a career has been the biggest shocker to me this offseason so far.

Riley said he'll let everyone else go ahead and get their work done, then he'll act.

aka Oden should be coming after working him out for a couple of days. :smokin

Hope so, the heat can't go into next season with the same roster.

Tired of seeing bosh play C. Doubt it's going to happen but I'd like to see:

chalmers/cole
Wade/Allen
Lebron/battier
Bosh/Haslem
Oden/Birdman

Maybe even switch Ennis in for battier or Haslem.

Yeah, I don't see Oden really starting. Or I wouldn't depend on him to play starter's minutes. They should just go after Greg Steisma and add a wing... Allen, Battier and Miller are running on fumes

I remember hearing both of his knees have degenerate problems, for a big man with mileage already on him? I'm good, I'd rather give Oden a shot for the minimum.
Im not exactly sure what Bynum has been diagnosed with in terms of surgical ailments but is sounds a lot like Chondromalacia which is excessive movement of the kneecap back and forth.  I have the same problem and am 24 and I can tell you that if this guy does come back he WILL need additional surgeries.  I've had two in three years and my orthopedic surgeon basically told me if I continue to play basketball I will be on his table 3-4 more times before I'm 40.

With that said, even though he is going to need multiple surgeries he can still be productive.  He will be out a lot of games with excessive swelling in the knee but since he is 7 foot he doesn't really need to be that athletic.  I think if the Cavs have certain language in the contract that allows them to void the contract due to injuries then this could be a good signing for them.

And may I ask how tall are u?

6'2".  I realize there is a difference between 6'2" and 7' but Im not saying this dude is going to go out and play 82 games.  He will require random games off and he will have to have his knee drained quite a bit, but the pain is manageable if you treat it right.  My only concern about this signing is if they do make the playoffs then I guarantee there will be games where it will be incredibly hard for him to play on short rest and traveling by plane and vehicle irritates it quite a bit.

and NBA owners have the balls to speak about players getting too much

After Roy I don't see why owners really want to take a chance. Is Grant Hill the only guy to comeback after major knee problems?

Morrow is a good pick up for the Pelicans  still funny. Can't wait for the jersey and arena reveled.

Heard Flip is trying to get Brewer back. I think that's okay his shot has improve so that's good. I just don't know who is going to be that wing stopper now for us. But I think Flip is trying to move Luke for something else too so who knows. Waiting on Pek now to sign since no else is offering.

I thought most of his problems were ankles weren't they?  I know Dwade has pretty severe knee problems and he is still playing on a decently high level.  I think he had surgery last year and the year before that in the offseason.

Highly doubt it.

Convinced Ray to opt in saving money and I believe that he got Bird to save the Heat a little bit of money too.

M-MLE will be available if so.

Warriors will not be better than the Rockets. Reg season or playoffs...

Warriors about to be Knicks west...

Hype for nothing.

omg big surprise coming from you lol

worry about derrick rose return on opening night of the 2014 nba season...
