Will it be a player A v. B post if I say there's no way LeBron can be a better rapper than Kobe?

...not serious.

David Stern should reject every deal thats been made tomorrow just cause he can. For basketball reasons.

can someone clear up what the qualifying offer does on rookie contracts? i read up on it a bit and if the rookie doesn't accept the qualifying offer, the rookie then becomes an UNRESTRICTED free agent, thus letting them sign anywhere with the team not having the ability to match any offer the following season.

can anyone clear this up?

Lakers win!

ha-ha-ha-ha suck it rest of the NBA
Your NBA luxury-tax champions from the 2012-13 season? Lakers informed tonight that they were officially charged $29,259,739 in '12-13 tax

You read right, my friends. Nets projected, at this early juncture, to owe somewhere between $72M and $77M in taxes after coming season

I think if they don't accept the qualifying offer they become a restricted free agent, allowing the current team to match any offer for that player. If the player accepts the one year qualifying offer they become a unrestricted free agent the next year.

Yeah, I don't see Oden really starting. Or I wouldn't depend on him to play starter's minutes. They should just go after Greg Steisma and add a wing... Allen, Battier and Miller are running on fumes
Ehh, I'm hoping that Ennis plays well in the summer league and makes his way into the rotation. This would allow us to put all our eggs in one basket (for a decent big.)

After next season, I think the new CBA kicks in at the start of this season
