Kemba-Ellis-MKG-Zeller-Al Jeff :nerd: :nerd: :nerd: :nerd:

low key sleeper playoff team

I'm sayin though. Two bonafide 20 ppg scorers, a great winger defender, rising young point guard, another very skilled young 7 footer that can play either the 4 or 5 plus Biyombo who would fit perfectly next to either one of them for defensive purposes.

Lol I'm not surprised Bizzaro did what he did. I knew things wouldn't work when kobe told Bizzaro that he wanted Bizzaro to be the Lakers Tyson Chandler. Lol

Anyone else think the Pistons should have had it in the plans to eventually retire Billups #1 jersey at some point? He was the leader and Finals MVP of that squad and got them to so many conference finals. Kinda crazy they just let Drummond get that number so quickly after he left.

I'm seriously starting to think it's time for contraction. 30 teams is too much. No one cares about the bucks or what they do_Or do what my mom says. No more draft, no more trades, players play where they grew up. More hometown fans will care because the players grew up in the area and it will eliminate these super teams. International players get randomly thrown on teams.

Well did Melo grow up in Baltimore or New York? And what about players who go off to prep schools in other states? Or what if you grew up in like Pittsburgh, PA? You're closer to Cleveland but some could argue that you should play in-state for the Sixers. The idea is intriguing but I think a lot of technicalities would have to be worked out before it's implementation.

Contraction is a must, though.

Speak for yourself.

The league is in good hands. Shaq retired and I saw no lengthy sadness.

His time is overdue and all he is doing now is making it worse trying to top Mike's scoring record, ole selfish...

That right Achilles is bound to go out next from him rushing his body back so soon.
Na the playoffs still felt different with kobe not playing, knowing that the lakers wasnt winning just the effort from kobe. Shaq and kobe play two different position. With shaq u was not looking for difficulty shot or game winners to push a game five from shaq. I would have said that the game was fine when jordan left than shaq leaving. I think harden filled that passion this season and playoffs. Kobe overdue ?? but he still putting up better stat lines than 85% of the players in the league.

Agreed.

Furthermore, I love, if he actually did it, what Dwight tried to do.

Why would Dwight Howard want to help Kobe Bryant try and out do Jordan, so Kobe could try and be called the greatest player ever? Why would anyone want to help Bryant do something like that? That is all this is about. Kobe is hell bent on trying to out do Jordan, and will do anything to try and be in the conversation of best ever. No player worth his merit, should even want to try and help Bryant reach this goal. The only thing that would happen is that Kobe would get all of the accolades, no matter how horribly he plays.

During this championship run by the Heat, we've seen how the league is so much better off without Kobe Bryant, and how he wont be missed.

Good riddance, and I hope he never comes back.

But that's what makes Kobe great. Even thought it's a pipe dream for him to try to reach jordan, that competitiveness is what makes Kobe, Kobe.

Even if he got his 6th, he's still not touching Jordan.

They have LeBron
And we still took them to the brink with Lebron, so what?

if the series was a sweep, I would have to agree with you.  But considering how close it was, plus the fact that we've gotten better.  I like our chances

It's what makes Kobe selfish, and a horrible teammate, that's what it does. He tried to control everything about the Lakers in regard to who was most vocal on the bench, and then who was allowed to even have fun in the locker room. All had to be met with Kobe's approval, and this is what players do not want to deal with. This guy turned two time MVP Steve Nash, into Steve Kerr.

Any player of significance should refuse to play with Kobe Bryant, for the remainder of his career. He does not deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Jordan, other than being one of Jordan's greatest imitators.

I hope he never, ever, comes back.

Nobody deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as Jordan. It's what makes kobe selfish, but also great. Steve Nash is in his late 30s, age and injuries turned him into steve kerr. I agree with nobody should want to play with him anymore until he retires or takes a back seat.

Is this dude serious about the Kobe-Shaq thing? Shaq hopped from team to team trying to win a ring at the end of his career with each stop being more and more meaningless. He tried hopping on LeBron, Nash and the Celtics waves and it just so happened that in each of those stops those team never were the contenders they once were before he joined them. Kobe is staying right in LA, is in great shape and wants to win more championships with the team he's been with his entire career. He showed this season he's still got a ton left in the tank, unlike Shaq at the end of his career. But nah I guess Kobe should just end his career after this disaster of a season just so people don't feel like he's "chasing after Jordan's records."

There are a few players that can be mentioned in the same breath as Jordan, and Magic is one of them, Russell is another, it is an elite company, one that Bryant cannot touch.

He has not been good for the game either.

Agreed on Nash's injuries slowing him down. However as a floor leader, a knowledgeable point man who knows how to run a team, Kobe does NOT know how to follow and take direction, and that is why Nash had to take a back seat to Kobe as THE floor leader.

imo, of course.
I think its only because of injuries the reason why nash played the way he did. If Nash was healthy everything would have played out a little different
