Adding KG and getting rid of Crash is good but all the other **** that manifests from that deal makes it stink. That lineup needs a solid, change-of-pace type bench backing them but all they have is a bunch of dog **** riding the pine.

Billy King is a doofus. But this is a league where you can blindly swing for the fences, come up short almost every time...and get rewarded with a contract extension.

Oklahoma City is pushing hard for a deal with Orlando to secure the No. 2 pick and draft Indiana's Victor Oladipo, league sources tell Y!

Blatche is solid offensively, they need to re sign him, top 10 pf imo

Hmmm in a draft this deep but not as talented that could be a good deal for both teams.

Golden State made an inquiry on Kevin Garnett with Boston on Wednesday, but there was no traction there, league sources tell Y! Sports.

Like it's been said, Perkins would do more harm than good for trade value  They better throw in Russy if they're trying to unload Perk.

The 12 and Lamb might be intriguing if this draft was better and if they didn't already have Afflalo... even if they move Afflalo for another player down the line.. I'd rather take McLemore over Lamb

The Golden State - KG report is interesting. They probably tried giving the Celts RJ

Do they not trust Bogut's ankles?

^^^ The Nets-Celtics trade is whatever to me. A lot of big names moving around, but in the end its not going to change a whole lot in terms of how the East shakes out. Even with KG and Pierce, assuming they're both healthy all season, the Nets still won't be as good as the Heat and I think its debatable whether they'll even be better than the Bulls (with a health D Rose) and Pacers.

If you're a Celtics fan like me you have to love what Ainge is doing.

Very optimistic about our future after hearing this.

Disagree. I think this makes them the number 2 best team in the East if it works out right. That starting five is potentially dynamite.

Williams, Johnson, and Pierce between those three are matchup problems night in night out. Not counting Garnett who is still pretty good, and the ever emerging Lopez

I don't believe this trade makes them better than the heat, but this definitely to me makes them a contender.

What's interesting in all of this is what the C's do with Rondo. The C's aren't a playoff team without KG and Pierce. Rondo will want out by the Midway point if they don't do something with him.
