hold up. i just read the article. my dude had son living with him and his wife??

then he was paying for his place?

it do sound like duncan had a MISTERtress

"Amy treated Tim like a b*** throughout their marriage because she knew he was f**** his BFF. Tim knows Amy was cheating on him but he's willing to give her whatever she wants, because he doesn't want Amy to tell the world that he's bisexual," Yardbarker reported a source close to the situation noted.

Tim Duncan is the Will Smith of the NBA

Monta getsa lot of flack on here, but I wish he could've went to a contending team and played the 6th man role. You cannot tell me there's another guy out there capable of being better than him in that role next season. His passing ability, being able to get to the line, speed/quickness, you are looking at a 6th man of the year candidate. Obviously, he wanted money and a bigger role though. His career and image could have changed for the better if he accepted the 6th man role.

I'm hoping Tyreke can accomplish this in New Orleans. I would have preferred for him to go to a better team as well, but New Orleans is looking at the playoffs next season. I hope they have success.

Tyreke and Monta are only successful individual players as a high usage players..... like they have to lead the team in usage% or they aren't going do anything

Monta's usage% was actually much lower during his best years in Golden State than it is now. His usage during the 2nd and 3rd year was 22.4 and 21.7. He was more efficient then as well.

I'm not sure on Tyreke. Tyreke had a lower usage rate this year compared to his first 3 seasons and was more efficient this year. I think both guys can be better when they are not as depdedent on for leading a team. They are just better served as your 4th option. 3rd as best case.

it's really none of our business whether or not timmy likes the d. i hope that reporter is proud of his big story.

well there is always two sides to a story

i remember everybody was crucifying his wife saying she was cheating on him making her out to be the villian.

yet she is the one who filed for the divorce

just some local spin story to have duncan save face

its kind of funny how every body loves of news when so and so is smashing the model chick or jump off............but when they find out they smashing a dude? :x

Damn its a coming out party for the NBA... no disrespect, its just crazy to me. The ignorant kid in me just never expected a gay NBA player. I always thought most guys started playing ball to impress girls

Damn RCK.

You BARELY avoided signing Monta to a ridiculous contract.

You're team is better today because one man did not sign with you.

These chicks out here be bitter trying to taint reputations. I doubt Tim is a homo. Chick just looking to destroy his name and get what ever money she can. Bitter divorce.

Pacers, nets, bulls. Miami was already on their last legs this past playoff. Pacers is going to knock them out in 5. Nets might mess around and beat them in the second round.
I don't want to believe this but the lack of offseason moves is troubling. Greg Oden will likely be the headline pickup.

Somehow Wade didn't need knee surgery this off season but I feel like his production is about to fall off a cliff.

Thank you.  Been arguing this ad nauseum on NT.  Monta Ellis is a much better player than NT gives him credit for.  I can only go off of history, but when Monta played for a good team, he was not this inefficient chucker that most of you label him as.  When Monta plays for a garbage team, he has attempted to be the guy to carry that team.  He isnt that player.  Thats not Monta.  When he is surrounded by good players, he is not only an efficient scorer, but his usage rate drops as well.

I actually was really hoping Monta would sign with a team like the Bulls, Spurs or Thunder.  A team where he didnt have to be the primary scorer, he could be a 6th man or 3rd option.  I think if he did that, people's opinions of him would change.  It will be interested to see how he is used in Dallas.

As stated before, the only reason the Kings are better today because they didn't sign Monta, is because the Kings are trash.

You couldnt make a similar claim if you were talking about the Bulls or a team like that.
