maybe not but it doesn't hurt them...plus they really don't have any suitors who wants him for something they need like a pg etc.... They basically got an asset with much value to other teams, but who cant or aren't really in a position to give up anything significant for him.

Never understood the Rose hate at all. He's a great player and gives everything when he's on the court, a lot of y'all need to get off his ****.

I can't wait for him to shut y'all up. "Oh of course he's playing well now he had a whole year off".

but is he lying...overall in judging his career, his had a pretty decent/good career.. And age wise isn't (barring any injuries, has plenty of gas left in the tank)

As of late fans look at good/great players...and have such a high expectation...especially in their early years... that if they aint Bill Russell multiple ring status, they suck and their entire career is down the toilet.

Look how long it took akeem, dude went a damn decade, plus had to have a Jordan retirement before he won anything. So up until that point, he was a failure and sucked and didn't have a successful career? Because he didn't have a chip yet, that takes away that he was arguably the best or one of the best bigs in the league?

Ppl mindset now is if you come out with high hopes/praise (which is funny cause its usually you same dudes that tear them down) They do well or great rookie year, first few years.... that if you haven't one chips somewhere close to midlevel of your career...you scrub status. Then the same ppl who praised them, said they were gonna be the truth etc.... turn around a say, oh well I never liked them, I always knew they would be a failure...lol

Cause trust me kyrie, rose, wall so on and so forth aint winning jack no time soon...So yall might as well get ready, well hell start calling these guys garbage NOW.

Absolutely but ain't nobody taking bum *** Perkin's 18.6 mil over the next 2 yrs AND just had another knee surgery this yr worst performance in NBA playoff history *** contract.

That's with all sports though, maybe except baseball.

But winning is a big part in determining how great or successful your career is...

Are people saying that his waiting to play issues connect with how good he is at basketball? When he goes back he's probably going to be good, and most people that "throw salt at him" for his failure to get out their on the court when he definitely could know that.

Was it you Allen that said over and over, why don't the Thunder call up the Magic and offer Harden and Ibaka for Dwight, and get that dude in town with Durant/Russ right here and now?

And the Magic would have taken that deal too.

Instead Presti sends Harden in conference, and now Dwight joins him and OKC got to deal with that. :smh:

Dwight/Collison (or a stretch 4 replacement)/Durant/Thabo/Russ would have been BULL ****!!!!! :lol: Just tons of stupid. All in their primes too.

But outside of here, I never saw a single mention of Harden/Ibaka to the Magic for D12.

How they haven't amnestied him is beyond me. Dude had a negative PER, more turnovers and fouls then rebounds, points and blocks combined and he's getting payed Paul Milsap, David West, Al Jefferson type money. Like....what? I swear if OKC wasn't god level in the draft consistently between Brooks coaching and Presti's signings they would be in bad shape.

He took the whole year off, playing with people's emotions. If he would've said at jump "yo, i'm not playing this season" that would've been fine but he never ruled out his return. Then you see reports that the docs cleared him in march but he's not mentally ready to play? What the hell? This is your franchise player but he's mentally weak. You have guys like Noah barely able to walk and still playing, Nate Robinson throwing up on the sidelines and still playing. I will never understand it...

he said from jump he wouldnt come back until he was 100% ... all the rest of that ish was done by the team...stringing fans along thinking he would return & not ruling him out but getting the doc to say he was good to go...same thing happend with Lu he got a 2nd opinion after the docs told the media he was good to go & he had a break
