All I stated was d12 in his first few years,,,regardless of how he did it, or regardless of his competition dominated point blank period. He was easily the best center with some ppl saying he was slightly better then a injury prone Bynum.

no thats not all you said you stated what i quoted dont try to backtrack now

you put up false *** numbers to compare

dwight has never touched 24.0 in his career

his first few years in the league he averaged 12, 15, and 17 ppg hardly dominant as you said. you must have also forgot about yao who was putting similar numbers up if not better and tim duncan, who played some center/power forward. not to mention shaq in the almost past his prime stage, was putting up better numbers than dwight in dwights first few years. go look it up.

bynum was nowhere near being anything dominant nor i think he was in the league same time as dwight rookie year. it was after dwight rookie year and bynum wasnt played big minutes til his 3rd or 4 th season

my dude shaq had 3.5 average in blocks his rookie year to dwights 1.7

dwight couldnt even hold shaqs jock strap

^ They should have amnestied him instead of Miller and spend a little more change to bring in Oden. That way, they still would have had that extra man to spread the floor/play small ball and would have brought in a big that could do everything Joel does 10x better when healthy.

People really think that point totals are the only thing that matters in the NBA.
Dwight may not be at the level of the greats, but he's been a dominant defender who changed the game for his team... With the potential for offensive explosions.

so if Dwight isn't the most dominate center who is? Also how is Dwight dominance as far as other centers in the league today not more then akeem or ewings?

you can post numbers that are better and yes duh they were better players...But dwights dominance as far as centers as of TODAY is greater than ewings and akeems were at the time they played...regardless of how they did it and the numbers...

How can they even both have been the most dominant players of their era, when they played in the same damn era... ? One surely had to be 1st/2nd And if one is was waaaaaaaaay more dominant then the other, id like to know which one is it.

Dwight today is kinda like how wilt was (minus the points/numbers) at a certain point of his career. Due to the level of competition he faced, or lack there of he was clearly heads and tails above any other center. That's all im saying about Dwight. Im not saying because he is the most dominant center today makes him a all time great, or makes him better offensively etc... but end of the day regardless of how he does it, he is the clear cut most dominant center in the game.

If you hate him dislike him, doesn't think hes all that great...nowhere near is good as some of the all time greats...that's cool. But to feel that way and discredit his dominance is kinda bias.

that's all im saying dude is dominant and has no competition and therefore dominating at a level those other players did not. Its not his fault aint no quality centers in the league. And if he ends up being the most dominate center of this current era....and never be a great post player...how is that a knock to his dominance?

hell if I went out and averaged 16 and 12...and the next best player was 10 and 6.... end of the day I was still more dominating then a player who average 20 and 20 and the next guy and line average 18 and 18 and the next guy 16 and 14

My first thought and was thinking what about Mo Will? Pressure on Lin.

No thanks to Mo Will. Dude just gonna take time away from Beverley. He's earned a shot at solid minutes off the bench IMO

I don't get all the Dwight slander every team in the league would have no problem paying him the max to be their 5. Brooklyn was gonna trade brook for him and lakers traded Bynum for him those are the number 2 and 3 centers in the league. Dude ain't shaq but in this era he is a top 5 player and the best at his position

Dwight is better than every center in the league right now
Dwight is dominant on the defensive end

Dwight just isn't dominant in the post, where he wants the offense to run through him.
That's the only disconnect between what Dwight Howard is and what Dwight Howard thinks he is.

I'm listening to the Ryan Rucco and SAS show, what the hell does SAS bring to the table besides his name? I'm sure all SAS do is throw on his headset, Rucco carries the show..

Sixers interviewing Adrian Griffin and Ed Pinckney for their head coaching position.

**** feels weird seeing dudes like Griffin be up for head coaching jobs when it seems like just the other day he was out there on the court. He had a pretty crappy NBA career too...hope he can coach a lot better than he can play.

Is svg really blackballed from league

mike miller to the rockets :nerd:

are they under the cap?

i dont see him clearing waivers. even though he sucked the last few years with injuries i know he can shoot. id love for Pistons to get him for dirt chep.

lmfao @ these theories about the lakers promising dwight post touches. dwight got his touches and almost every time he would either clank his little turnaround hook or get stripped of the ball. this is what lead to his shoulder injury. the scouting report said this dude has zero awareness in the post so let him go into his move and just rip him, guys were so eager for an easy steal they started to get him across the arm as he went up.

it was absolutely ridiculous how often dwight would get ripped when he iso'd in the post. even the lakers' commentators were appalled, stu lantz mentioned he had never seen anything like it. throughout the whole season he NEVER adjusted it was like it caught him by surprise every. single. time. and people expect this guy to turn into barischnakov with the foot work because of hakeem and mchale.

I honestly think he might be a little dumb in the brain. from getting stripped of the ball to all the baby mommas he just makes the same mistakes over and over. like "oops, forgot to pull out again..ah well". he didn't deserve more post touches. it would be like artest crying because he didn't have more pg duties. and yes artest would often bring the ball upcourt while nash would just stare at him.
