SO i got my pair of xx3 stealths thru sneakersus.com and just like errbody else the box is all jacked.. but while i was waiting on the shoes i actually pickedup a pair from footlocker same size (9)... now could i return the shoes that i got from sneakersus.com to footlocker? i got reciepts and everything and i didntwear it yet.. wouldnt it be the same barcode and everything? but when i was looking at the reciept.. the number is different from the barcode of the box itreads.."4100383004090 1 @ 185.00" any help would be appriaciated.. thanks..

Maybe yes and maybe no

Maybe yes because they still DS and would probably want another pair to sell.

Maybe no because you didn't buy them from the original store.

That's my $.02 just don't for sure.

hmmm.... maybe it'll work... i don't see why not... any footlocker employees... can you do that because now im curious as well

just pick whatever two shoes look the best and throw them in the jacked up box an return them. as long as you have two of the same barcode onboth boxes it should work and no extra stickers or barcodes like athletes foot or flight club put on their boxes.

There won't be any problem returning them because they're from a different store. However, they may be a problem returning them since the box is allbeat up. So to reiterate, there's no cross referencing of serial numbers or anything like that. As long as it's the same model, same size, samecondition you should be fine. Again though, since the box is all beat up they may not take them back. I wouldn't accept this return for instance.

^^ actually.. the box is not that jacked.. the footlocker box is just a little better than the sneakersus.com.... the tissue on the box of the sneakersus.comis a little ripped and has holes but no biggie.. i just preffer the footlocker box that i bought.. anyways thanks for all the input..

you maybe able to if they just use the receipt to make the return and don't rescan the box..... which they should not

i returned a pair of playoff 8s around x-mas and they just used the receipt but, they did check the shoes out first and then just took the box to the back

now this was at finish line and every store is not the same so its up to you to take the chance which is 50/50 on working or not

but even if it does not work just say you have two pair and picked up the wrong pair at your house

what can they do

^^^ true!!! thanks man.. that make sense.. maybe ill just bring both shoes just incase.. anyways im a lil nervous now lol... but hopefully it would work..thanks anyways.. again for all your guys replies..

You don't need a receipt to return at footlocker. Just tell them you lost the receipt.

^^ that will result to having a store credit.. i have the reciept and i just want my money back

It will work unless the box is very messed up. I don't think you should have any problem because the barcode on the box is not footlocker specific.

That number "4100383004090" on your receipt is actually 41-00383-004 size 9.0...it's the Foot Locker sku system. If the boxes have identicalUPC's then your good to go, regardless of the box condition. When the UPC barcode is scanned, it converts it over to the FTL sku for their records. If youhave your receipt, the shoes are still brand new, and it is within 30 days, you can get your money back no problem. Just dont be that guy that comes in thestore right at opening expecting to get $185 cash back (We like to call these guys Gate Jumpers...really annoying). Wait until mid afternoon for such a largereturn. Most stores can't do such a large cash return before then. Make sure the box your bringing back doesn't have another company's label orunnecassary stickers on them and your A-OK. Also, for future reference, most FTL's WON'T give you a merchandise credit without a receipt and will makeyou do an even exchange instead. Too many stores get scammed and have to resort to doing it that way. It's just the nature of the beast.

i think the two most important things are..how beat up the box is and whose working that day.

if its just some high school kid i doubt he'll care, but if you run into a manager (store or district) then you might have a little bit more convincing todo.

Bazdog summed it up perfectly ....

just make sure its in the afternoon , and you're good .. nuthin to get nervous about.

Just go in there and say you want to return them. Don't say you got them from another store or website. If the shoes haven't been worn, youshouldn't have a problem. Like the guy above said, do not go at opening time because there are no sales, so no money in register. The box shouldn't bea problem as long as the shoes haven't been worn and it's before the 30 day limitation.

^^^ to all the people the replied.. thanks.. that was very helpfull forreal.. thanks again.. and i will keep the afternoon thing in mind... thanks againniketalkers..

Yeah shouldn't be a big deal where you at? If you are in the bay most stores will take it back because it'll be easy for us to sell because its apopular size.

yeah u can prob return it. i worked at fl over a summer and its all bout how cool the cashier is. worst case, u get store credit instead of cash. but justsweet talk ur way into convincing the cashier. lol

Just try and hopefully you'll get luck on your side. It wont hurt to do so, also, let us know how things worked out so that we knew for future reference.

Yes, I work at finishline and as long as the style number and color code is the same ( which it is because every company gets the same one) then you will beable to return them)...but like that other guy said pick the best lookin right and left shoe and keep them lol

another little trick you can do is if you find something on clearance at a store and the style number is the same at footlocker or footlocker.com you canreturn it without a reciept and they will give you store credit for the current price of the item...for instance you can buy a pair of shoes at TJ Maxx for $30and if there going for like 100 at footlocker then you can get 100 store credit

i did this years back with some grey XV's i got from shoetrends.com. i had bought the pair from there, then bought another pair from footlocker. i wound upnot being able to keep both pr for financial reasons, so i returned the shoetrends pair. bazdog is right on the money with his response.
