How is OF not Hip Hop? Tyler is one of the most talented artist in the game right now; probably putting more work than your favorite artist. He writes his music, produces his music, directs his videos (which are usually better and more creative than almost any other Hip Hop artist out)...I mean, what more do you want from him? He's put out one of the best Hip Hop albums of the year so far and you acting like he don't know what he's doing.

Like it was stated earlier in this thread...rappers are to buddy buddy and everybody wants to be fam...you didn't like him at one point but now you do because it can possibly benefit your career...I understand having issues with people and as men getting over them but most these rap cats is booty

Ok inform me sir cuz I gave reasons why they aint the realest rappers musically or in general. How Wale one of the realest rappers when in his old songs dude made fun dudes getting no play on the radio that really were reaching for it, now he the main dude recruiting singers to get on the radio.
Truthfully, if u feel these the realest rappers in the game then that's you but I'm pretty sure neither mainstream, indie, joe budden or wale fans gon agree with you.

Wale is IMO one of the realest rappers because he puts the music first. You can tell he actually has a passion for what he's doing and that he's not concerned with flossing or all the extra bs. IDK he comes off as an actual, real-life musical dude. Same with J Cole. Like I feel like those cats would probably still be into music even if they were just regular nobodies.
A lot of these other dudes are just in it for the money or the image. They just wanna say "I got this car, I got that girl, I'm wearing these designers, I'm hanging out with Kanye and Jay and Puff, blah blah".. ASAP Rocky is a typical example of that type of character

You must be young if you don't know what I'm talking about. Your going by this new ******** rap generation of what's real. People hate Joe and Wale for being themselves. In real life people are insecure, simps and do stupid ****, but they don't care. They are who they are. Just like the internet isn't real, because everyone on the internet is intelligent, good looking, has money and drives a nice car. You put up the facade of what you want to project. That's what rap is. A bunch of dudes pretending they get mad chicks, are millionaires and trying to show how gangsta they are. Real is a reality show to this new generation. If you're fake you like fake **** or you want to escape from your reality and live vicariously through someone else.

How many rappers discuss themselves, flaws and all in music and don't give a ****? Jay-Z has been rapping for nearly twenty years and you still barely know him. The switch totally got turned off after Volume 1.

That's why it's funny to see all these rappers tweets about duke. You wouldn't see them do that to Waka, 2 Chainz or French though, and they are wack, extremely. And they're poisoning the community with ignorance and negativity. But just in case they might run in to them they don't want to have to answer for their words. Instead they'd do a song with Yo Gotti or Ace Hood, and then say Wale is wack or corny. That's what Stalley was getting at.
That's why I guarantee you if Wale projected a thug image, none of this **** would have been said about him. You put a camera in front of peoples faces and ask them about Rick Ross being a CO, and it's a different answer than behind closed doors when they're amongst friends.
