was not a big fan of these at first but I seen them in person the other day and now that I see more and more pics..they are def starting to grow on me i think ill give it a try release day.

I haven't bought a pair of retro 's so far this year. Carmines will be my first if I'm fortunate enough.

why is it taking so long for May to get here? I need these already. Glad i didn't cop that CDP pair when I had the chance to last may.

I'm coppin again this year even though the quality is going to be nowhere near the CDP. :/

CDP quality on these was actually pretty good as far as leather and materials.

i wouldn't doubt but id much rather spend 170 on these than 350+ on the cdps. Thats basically two retail shoes for the price of one. Im sure people will cry about the quality like any other release. I guess i've just been fortunate to get good pairs.

Nah I'm not talking about pre creasing out of the box, or scuffs on the pairs you buy from the store. I'm talking about the material used, period. The leather quality, softness, etc. Getting a good pair doesn't really make a difference if the base materials are generic in the first place.

I get what you mean about money tho.. cause if money wasn't a factor, i wouldn't have copped the '11 pair of Concords. I wouldn't sunk the money for an older pair.
