The album is...wow. Everything I wanted and more. I mean, how are you gonna start the album off with PRINCE!?

I love the album.
 
Janelle def. made a statement with this album. I can't stop listening to this. I get a Stevie Wonder,MJ vibe from some of the tracks.

Exactly lol I can't even pick a favorite song since I don't know where I am in the album. The whole thing front to back is something nice. I love her.
 
Grabbed the deluxe joint from Target yesterday.  Popped Disc 1 in the deck on the ride back and realized they split the album in half between 2 discs.

So now I can't flow to the album without switching discs, which essentially breaks the flow.  We really couldn't have just used Disc 2 for the bonus tracks, huh?

I went to target to get the deluxe and they were sold out. Won't have time to cop until Saturday now. But I might cop both since someone said above that the deluxe is split in half.
 
^ that song's a staple of her live shows, smart to record a studio version, not as energetic as the live performance, but she does the og justice
 
Album of the year nominee. Damn near flawless price of work. Yo go Janelle!

It amazed me how many people don't know about her. She is so talented and her music is like a breath of fresh air.

I've seen her live last year and she really knows how to get a crowd hyped. It was pretty embarrassing because it was during Jazz Fest and most people were +30/ 40. Almost no one knew who she was. :smh: But once the show started, she got everyone on their feet and I mean EVERYONE, even the seniors :lol: .....:smh:

That being said, I respect her as an artist and I cannot wait to listen to this album. 8)
