just called them and some girl said that they didnt have them. not sure how credible that is though, because 

1. I could tell she had NO idea what i was talking about 

2. She just took a quick glance at the wall after i gave her a vague description. didnt ask for a style number or anything.

if you do swing by can you post what you find? i plan on going when i get off at 730 but i dont want to waste gas if they dont have em.

Sure thing, I get off at 5 if they're not there I'm gonna swing by columbia mall too so ill let you know

no clue .. makes you wonder, because I never heard about them until the day i started the thread. And then the site I was on only listed Sneaker Politics. Maybe since its not a high profile shoe its not being advertised or sold online, only in store? idk
 
Just got to dtlr and they have sizes 10,11,12,13 and a couple smaller sizes left. Got my 10.5
 
From the pics shown in the thread and actually seeing them, these are pretty loud. And the laces are more pink they're not red

Thanks for the info man! was able to get mine.

However, i am extremely displeased with how much the shape of the shoes differs from the pictures. i think they must have stuffed a ream or 2 of paper in there because it looks nothing like the pictures. with the shoe tree/stuffing out, it looks like a pancake. even with your foot in, the shape is totally different.  Tkim is also right about the laces. seems as though every color was over-saturated in the pictures. im really not a picky person, but i think these factors are enough for me to take them back :frown:. its sad though because the pictures look SOOOOO good.  damn... :.(

I think with the shape you have to factor in size as well. Not sure what size you wear up above, but for most pics sites use a size 8-9. Also the way they have them laced and with the tongue popped makes a difference. If you look at the toebox of the sites pics you can see that its pretty much flat like yours, just the tongue and laces give the illusion that they are "fatter" than they are.

Now as far as the colors, I totally agree lol.

yeah youre right, i was a little exaggerative lol. BUT:

there is nothing you can do short of stuffing something in the shoe while you are wearing them to achieve that look. notice i had the strings loosened for the tongue to be able to sit up, but it cant. unless you have feet like Frodo Baggins. the tongue is far to thin for it to naturally have the shape portrayed in the pictures. i wear a 10, btw.

ive got to look at the 83's made with more organic materials.
 
damn i was ALL about these in the site pics until i saw the pics above after dude copped...the colors look way off. the site pics made them look so legit..now i gotta see them in person before i cop. 
 
My take:

I agree on the points noted about the shoes. I will still cop and decide for myself.

Lets remember though, all "official images" we see of shoes are taking with a HQ camera and im sure they use something to saturate colors as well. But just looking at your pics and the PR pics of the shoes, the color seem about right, besides the laces do look pink, you can always just go buy some red laces (which would make me a lil upset that i have to spend a lil extra $$ to get the look they portrayed but its only $3 max) The shape of the toe box looks about right regardless of the photo being an 8-9 and you being a 10 i dont see any difference. That tongue look is probably a certain type of foot mold or mannequin foot/ankle the use in the photos. Other than that every thing looks spot on colors and shape.

Not sure if any of you have seen Roshe Runs .. but that is something you would be pissed about pics vs real life. I dont mind it but if you look at the PR photos for the Roshe they look great but when you get a pair and take out the stuffing the entire toe area collapses, and even with the stuffing that comes with the shoe they will not look like how they do in the photo and they definitely wont look like the photo with your foot in them.


anyways thanks for sharing the photos @BigDaddyAaron .. i plan on grabbing a pair hopefully i am satisfied with them and will grab me some red laces probably. I sent my lil cousin back home in GA to DTLR to see if they had em so if he can get me a pair ill post some pics as well. I'll use my actual camera to see if i can capture some good "PR"-like photos

Hey man do u mind taking some pics with them on your feet? These pics really made me think twice about copping the red ones.
 
My only grip with color is the pinks. in the pics, the endcap is a deep magenta- damn near the purple spectrum. but in person, its a Pepto Bismol pink. ive bought plenty of shoes with "beauty shots" and those have been accurate color wise to date; but Sneaker Politics color corrected the reds waaaayyyy to much in post.

D-zaaammm is that hpw they really look? All the sites have been showing off the "PR" photos. Why can they not just shpw how they really look. If ppl buy the jordan that arent retros then these will sell lol

The sneaker was looking sooo good too -.- why can't they just make it like the pictures, the sneaker would be the next roshe imo
