Air Jordan 3 Retro 5Lab3 2014 Release info $225 "Kix and the City"

im a sucker for 3s. THESE ARE COPPED..hopefully. 225 price point is not friendly though.

I just want to take a moment to welcome back all the "passers" from the beginning of this thread. You'll be copping.

I heard rumors about them being covered in netting from the side and under the laces of the V...glad that doesn't appear to have made the final cut. I'm not a huge fan of the DB III (or most DB's for that matter), but I do like the clear sole.

I said it before and I'll say it again, these are flames. I don't care nothing bout creasing. Thekid is in there like swimwear. I'm excited to see if a 2nd colorway will drop.

Is it me, or do the pics make the shoe seem like the upper is of some softer material...Not like the green bean V or raging bull V, but almost a 3M nubuck hybrid or something? I'm prolly bugging, but there does appear to be some sort of fabric texture to them. The XIII's proved that 3m can be woven into a softer material...eh, prolly just wishful thinking.

Go back a few pages and I mentioned the same. Early concepts were thought of with netting. Glaf the left the netting off. I was always a "lab" fan. Bout to be some interesting concepts. That 11 will cause mass destruction.

easy pass for me cause 1, the price. 2, the hype since it's a clear soled 3. and 3, not that crazy about them although they are better looking than both awful 5s. don't NEED them but at the same time don't despise of them.

They could at least price these at a good $200 since we all know that's where they want to go with retro's. $225 plus shipping plus tax is looking at $250 plus is pushing it. I'll wait for more pics to determine if I'll cop.

These actually exceeded my expectations, well done from these early shots can't wait to see more.

Hope everybody continues to hate them.

The subtle elephant is crazy in that 3M.

Looks like clothe inside.

$225 is steep but just like everything else in life, we pay for what we want!

***Nevermind just peeped the other angles, def leather interior and the clear eyelets to match the sole are a nice touch!**

That's what they chose as the signature element of the 4s? A material that wasn't even originally used on that model? Wow
Pardon my ignorance but I can't recall "suede" on a AJ before the IV's, educate me please.

Suede has been used on the IV's but no on the original product from 89.  I think that's is argument.  I'm not sure if the grey on the original Military Blue's were suede but either way it was not a defining material for the IV when they were orignaly made

This is all leading to a 3 lab 5 XI. Which shall cause Anchorman level fights in the streets. I want no parts of that. No thanks.

too much 3m not enough elephant print

need more pics to make up my mind

leaning towards copping though

so the shoe is white?  not black like other 3m shoes?

these are worst than i imagined,

im staying away from this wannabe BIN collection..

i think release is q1, but i am actually let down by the pics, maybe with the 3 being my favorite model i had higher hopes but with the price i am on the fence

I'm not feelin' the white stitching on the clear soles. And what material is that on the upper? Kinda looks like silk!

Do anyone has a picture of the tissue paper im trying to figure out the shoe. I know the ones that match are the shoes that the elements will be used on. I know some.
5-El 5 RE
= 3lab5 reflective, 5lab3 Elephant print
3-El 3 RE

2-IT (possibly Italian leather) 2-L

4-S 4-K

11-CF (carbon fiber) 11-P (patent leather)

20-LS

13-SM

15- W (woven)

4=Suede? I would think the "S" stands for speckle, as in speckle sprint. An alternative way to say "cement print"
I hope you're right. That would make a lot more sense, although that was specific to the one c.w. I really don't want to see an all over splatter shoe either.
Although they could actually use that to add interest to the vac tech. Maybe use different splatter colors or patterns to define the panels.
