I just want to take a moment to welcome back all the "passers" from the beginning of this thread. You'll be copping.
I heard rumors about them being covered in netting from the side and under the laces of the V...glad that doesn't appear to have made the final cut. I'm not a huge fan of the DB III (or most DB's for that matter), but I do like the clear sole.
I said it before and I'll say it again, these are flames. I don't care nothing bout creasing. Thekid is in there like swimwear. I'm excited to see if a 2nd colorway will drop.
Is it me, or do the pics make the shoe seem like the upper is of some softer material...Not like the green bean V or raging bull V, but almost a 3M nubuck hybrid or something? I'm prolly bugging, but there does appear to be some sort of fabric texture to them. The XIII's proved that 3m can be woven into a softer material...eh, prolly just wishful thinking.
Pardon my ignorance but I can't recall "suede" on a AJ before the IV's, educate me please.
That's what they chose as the signature element of the 4s? A material that wasn't even originally used on that model? Wow
Neither can I...in fact, they didn't use "suede" until the XIII...everything prior used durabuck.

Suede has been used on the IV's but no on the original product from 89. I think that's is argument. I'm not sure if the grey on the original Military Blue's were suede but either way it was not a defining material for the IV when they were orignaly made

I hope you're right. That would make a lot more sense, although that was specific to the one c.w. I really don't want to see an all over splatter shoe either.4=Suede? I would think the "S" stands for speckle, as in speckle sprint. An alternative way to say "cement print"
