I truly believe in the long run you would see huge CONTINUOUS profits for years to come! I smell the demise of the sneaker game, I see it being pushed into a total underground culture where anything that's new is considered WHACK HYPE, and only dealing in OGs etc is accepted. ITS HAPPENING already!!! Good luck with your current business plan BUT I can say I have seen this approach before and it doesn't end well.

So at the Jordan Brand event that I was at, it was at Wish in Atlanta if anyone is curious and I have some pictures of the event on my IG @Khangskicks, but the questions was brought up to the Jordan Brand representatives about quality and pricing. As you can imagine, this was a sneakerhead heavy event and everyone attending was not happy with the increasing prices and lower quality. The Jordan reps did acknowledge that they are addressing the concerns of sneakerheads but with better quality and material, prices will rise. And the majority of folks there agreed that if the quality and material was better, they would be willing to pay more.  So in that respect, prices will rise and it's up to you if you want to continue supporting them.

Another piece of interesting info that they mentioned were there are products coming out that are super true to the original material and quality.  They didn't say or show anything specific but I'd imagine some Jordan 1 and 2s with OG type of materials.  What they did show us lucky 10 who won the raffle was that it's pretty evident what direction Jordan Brand is going in.  Jordan Brand is aiming to be the high end luxury wing of Nike. They are going after the Balenciaga's of the fashion world so expect more fashion forward high end Jordan inspired shoes coming out from them.  They mentioned Russell Westbrook wearing Balenciaga at red carpet events when he should be wearing Jordan Brand.  So they are making products for those events. 

No one really knows what the future holds for Nike and Jordan Brand but right now they are riding pretty high. They have some incredibly talented people working for them who are very aware of what is happening in the market.  If and when Nikes and Jordans become lame and irrelevant, people will stop buying it. And if you are a sneakerhead with hundreds of shoes, you'll continue to keep buying shoes but with another brand but if not, so what? You have hundreds of pairs of shoes.  From what I saw, 2014 will be another big year for Jordan Brand and besides the J29 these 5lab3 maybe the highlight of the year. Haha. Pun intended.
 
Think of the Jordan db line. If it was in the 90's and early 2000's, no db Jordan would sell. Those colors on the 4's, weird design on the 1,2,3,9.....NOT! A plastic shoe with words and a blacklight on the 5 would not have sold at all. But in today times, where everyone wants to be different, they sell like hotcakes and is driven by social media

All 3M upper including the Jumpman logos. Sort of a dark blue on the mid sole. Never been a Jordan 3 like these before. Almost a foam like material. It reminds of these all 3M Pumas that's out on retail right now. Most people are already paying $225-$235 for foams and these are way better than any foams out right now.

There were no pictures allowed. They actually took our phones alway. There were 10 of us that won a raffle that got to see them.  Besides calling it 5lab3, the 3M was the only trait of the 5s.  No webbing or shark tooth paint schemes at all. They also showed off the new Melo BHM.  Also very nice looking. Minimal BHM print on the tongue and toe box with a gold Melo logo on the back. Sort of a dark purple/blue color.

How is anyone surprised that these will be $225?? The 3Lab5 was $225...why would this be any different? C'mon son...

Plus, yall kids LOVE 3M. You love it more than anything in the whole wide world.

...except, of course, glow in the dark.

But it's not like JB has ever released an all 3M retro Jordan before...

People will buy anything, Bro. That's why there's a hundred dumb inventions a year and thousands of "yard sales" every weekend. People's taste didn't change cause era or times, what shoes people spend their money on had a lot a to do with everyone saving their kicks now ("collecting"). How many times are we gonna buy cement  IIIs  when you have a closet full?
 
info summary, all 3m upper, leather laces, translucent outsole, sport blue (?) midsole, black white upper (?), q1 release can our eyewitness confirm?
 
If they are like the white flips that released in 06 or 07, then I'm copping 2x at least. Those shoes were straight quality

3lab5 means 3 qualities applied to the 5 so wouldnt 5lab3 mean 5 qualities on the 3? i wouldnt be surprised if there was no elephant print to those saying flip 3s 
 
Will the material be like the anodized 1s (foamposite material), but reflective (3m)?

 It appears that the one piece upper is going to be the main feature of the lab series.  

Will these have an all leather lining?

Will these have reflective laces or waxed laces for a premium look?

If they use a foam material that should reduce the creasing that is inherent to 3M material and will also allow for a nice clear coat to prevent scuffing.

Nothing worse than a pair of reflective 5s (toro pack) looking like they just saw action in the last Die Hard movie.
 
all the 3m shoes ive owned have come messed up straight out the box..

they crease easily and come with blotches and scratches all over.

but yeah this was known last year when sneakernews did that 30 page article on those ugly 3lab5's in july.

As you may have heard, the follow up to the 3Lab5 will be a 5Lab3 edition of the Air Jordan III. This version will pay tribute to the Reflective element,derived from the tongue of the Air Jordan V. You can expect a healthy dose of reflective 3M on the upper and who knows what other surprises may be in store.

Net instead of elephant then elephant instead of leather, 3m tongue

or

Regular 3 setup with elephant and leather but entire shoe is 3m and make the whole shoe have the 5 midsole teeth pattern all over
 
I wanna know how they came up with these "Lab" ideas... Like, why did they choose the 5s to use the elephant print? Why not 4 or 6? Why the 3s for the 3M? Why not 9 or 11?
