I dunno about the price increase NK, because the markdowns are way lower than the $99 the Kami II retailed at. Maybe the silhouette doesn't appeal to the new jacks or Nike/JB has flooded the market with more 'desirable' crap.

Ultimately Reebok did a piss poor job promoting these joints - I remember way, way more A through to F-listers rocking the Kami II vs. these. It would've cost Reebok less to ship out free pairs vs. paying some ad/media company to come up with that Barbershop whackness.
 
You know, they could have plaid the same strategy as Fila did (not that they are doing amazing, but look where were they 2 years ago), send every YT channel holder pairs to review, give it to whatever celebrity they can. Tell the story, involve Mr.Kemp on all of it, and of course keep the price $100 or 105, but to jump straight to $115...even JB are not doing $15 jump, only $10 every year :smile:

I am wondering if they really care to sale more pairs or not, definitely with a bit tweaked strategy, the results could have been different.  
 
does anyone have on feet pics of the isaiah PE? trying to decide that and the blue/blacks

What a *****, I am not going to pay 90 for them joints, will wait till a proper 30%+ comes up. 
 
My k 1 came today. They look nice but what the hell did they use for the leather parts of the shoe? Its really soft and looks like it will tear easy if scuffed?

Also they have a weird smell for some reason. Im guessing it the leather material in question.

Paid 130 for the k1, rail, and reebok classics. Not bad at all

The price is bigger factor than most realize. The Kamikaze I was $75 back in the day and the Kamikaze II was $85. Until these retroed, I used to think that the Jordan XI was the worst in terms of price hiking but these took that title. I'm a fan but I'll wait and try to catch sales.

My man you simply cannot price your product similarly to how you priced it 2 decades ago. In the case of Adibok & Fila, you price it based on your competitor Nike - whose prices are just flat out absurd based on the quality being delivered. With a little patience it has been proved that the Kami I & Kami II can be scored for lower than the $75 & $85 you stated too.
 
What is more mind blowing is those rumors that Jordan retros will be up to $190 this fall and people seem not to care one bit and still would want to cop, I am just amazed! Even now at $170 I pick and choose what to cop and so far this year I only have one pair, but at $190 I am definitely will be only going after Reebok/Adidas/ Fila and so on. 
 
Yep, I read and hear about it more and more lately, so I am not going to be surprised at all if the Black/Infrared Vl is $190 and all after that. 
 
Yeah, I will definitely be staying away from Jordan Brands. As hard as it is to get J's, the price is getting way too high. Hey, they might as well raise it to $220-250 because people will complain but still buy. I'll stick to Reebok mainly to keep my pockets and sanity.
