Was Kevin Hart let me explain funny? Worth the movie ticket?

i watched let me explain on bootleg and still fell asleep on it only laughed at two parts........the deerba skit and im killing u ******* im going to throw flames.(....something like that)

watched it on the net...thank goodness. was wack to me. i chuckled a few times, laughed once and the rest i had the straight face. i mean, inside i knew some of the stuff was comical, but none of it was really 'funny'..and trust...I know funny. My sense of humor is on 10 @ all times.
 
I mean if you are into stereotypical black comedian humor etc.... then it will be ok/good def not great. You know the kind of jokes that are basically play ons of black stereotypes, being poor and/or ghetto, bad kids...working around white ppl, things like that you might enjoy it but even then you wont be like man this is comedy gold.

If your more of a broader topic black comedy like a deon cole, w kamaal bell etc.... it will be ok

if you are into the more drier satire type of comedy like a Hannibal burgess, most around the mill white comics, Anthony jessleneck, seinfield etc....this will be utter trash to you.
 
I guess I'm in the minority here but I loved it. I was laughing my *** off throughout.

get fire on these ******* one time
 
Didn't see it but come on, K Hart. Throw us a little more than 1 hr and 10 min of content. Movie tickets ain't cheap, and we all don't have time to catch matinees.
 
had its moments where it was funny. took a while to start and some parts were almost pretty bad....like really bad
 
Just saw it. It was okay. A few jokes had me laughing but a few jokes just didn't hit or lasted way too long.

On a side note, I mentioned to my friend that both Louis CK and Kevin Hart are reaching their strides in popularity right now and they're both polar opposites when it comes to how they distribute their material and deal with the fame.
 
Wasn't as funny as I expected but had it's moments.

Too short and not funny enough to justify full price tickets IMO

I had no clue that he was so popular worldwide tho, he's done shows in lots of other countries.

Completely agree with him not being funny, but to me he is not at all funny. It was my first week getting to know this female and she wanted to see this ish I gave her the
