Just came from ****'s about an hour ago in Stonebriar Mall in Frisco, TX and they had some behind the register. Bought a couple pair of sz 12s and they charged me $135.99 each. They people at the register didn't know what the shoes actually were.

And we haven't even gotten retroes above the XV yet.
Now add in the retro+'s they've retroed that people want like chrome VIII's or mocha III's.
And you think they will release a sneaker from this year in a couple of years

I could see it. With the 3's apparently going back into the vault (we'll see how long that lasts) and them not wanting to retro anything past 14, they'll need to pull from what they already have, and the Maroon's a perfect opportunity. OG colorway, never been retroed, could bring in hype, and be another example of their new "Remastered" take on things.

When they said every retro they meant Jordan 1-15 not every colorway.

I think they havent dropped retros past the xv because they havent found a way to skimp past the materials without the actual shoe falling apart lol

Who knows when they'll rerelease these, but people thinking every colorway is going to get remastered is unrealistic and exactly the type of kool aid JB wants us to sip.
It's more likely they'll abandon "remastering" the way they abandoned packs, bins, and hopefully they abandon the lab series.
