I guess things like this become more noticeable when you spend $170 on  a pair of shoes.  At least give me the privileged of wearing them first  to thrash the cheap *** plastic leather.
 
Very easy cop, woke up 6:00AM PT going to work, had it in the cart at 6:30, checked out at 8, even went back on EB around 9 and put another 10.5 in cart but didn't cop.

The Carmines rereleased in 2008 and then again in 2014. It's safe to say these will re retro again in a couple of years

I feel you. The first pair they gave me was really off. The stitching was really uneven, and the "leather" had scrapes and scratches in addition to the usual glue boogers. Asked for another pair, and this one had other qc issues most notably a mishaped toe-cap. Asked for another pair, seemed ok with just minor flaws, but I feel like Im settling for a sub-par product sometimes. :smh:

Please JB, "master" the retros first, then worry bout "re-mastering"
 
Having to buy online has its ups (ex. convenience of purchasing and time saver) and downs (ex. possibility of errors and hassle of returns). I had my share of bad experience with retros. But if its not that really noticeable then i'll let it slide.

exactly what I said a few weeks ago. the people who somehow got the idea there would be "special"  remastered pairs are probably the same ones that go crazy for every doernbecher

Carmines were part of a CDP. They weren't a GR. That was a poor example. They're retroing everything from the CDP's.
 
wait, so starting 2015 retros will be remastered...but they'll only release OG colorway? and new retro+? not redo old retro+?

wew. all upcoming releases in 2015 will have better quality than the previous releases. it doesnt mean that theyre going to bring them all that was retroed back to a remastered version.

This made me think of this picture. This is what I would call Horrible quality. Not a tiny glue spot and a couple specks. we all know the "leather" they are using is the cheapest crap on the market so if a small nick in it suprises you that much why are you even thinking about paying 170 for it?
