I thought the $50 gc from Nike expired on 5/31.

Absolutely did but I was onto that BS and ordered a pair of kobe shorts for 53 then returned them at the factory store to get a real gift card.

I have heard that you can ask for an expired gift card to be renewed, doubt they would have done that with their "gift" though.

I'm so happy I got the Influences!! I tried to get them through a friend from the Euro release and missed out. Been waiting on these for a while. Good Luck to those still trying to cop!

(1) The South Beach LBJ XIs did NOT sell out yet....

(2) The Influences somehow did sell out...

(3) NDC misspelled "Brasil" on their storepage...

(4) The BraZil pack says OOS but sizes are still available to click on...

(5) I couldn't search for the style code for the Influences either.....

(6) And lastly, this thread hasn't had hundreds of posts this morn like a typical release morning...

weird day indeed. Hell I took a nap at 4 and woke up at 5:03 and still got a pair of influences.

Nike flipped the Influence to a 1-per instead of a 2-per as well.

I don't want to blow them up despite the launch locator saying it was a raffle.

The manager is on some f that store policy ish. He tried to do the same for the WTKD.

A fellow shoe enthusiast told me one of the store clerks could get him any shoe for $30 over retail, lol.

Empty store at HOH on 34th street NYC.  Didn't see the launch on NDC so I walked over and got my pair in 5 minutes. Pretty stoked.

The store I went too did FCFS, They said forget the raffle because they were not getting any calls for these. So I was thinking that they had a bunch of pairs. So I pull up to the mall and see a line of about 150 people, So I instantly thought I was I done. But I got out and stood in line anyway, (Took me a hour to get there), and I find out Jimmy Jazz did a restock of Retro Jordans. So that made me feel better until I got inside the mall and FTL said they only got 18 PAIRS TOTAL of the Influences. So My heart dropped especially when they told me they had already taken names. He said I got 1 pair left, Size 11.5, I was like WHAT, Thats my size. He rung em up and the rest is history. I walked out of the mall to find that the retro Jordan line got bigger by that time also. Anyway lucky me. Congrats to all that wanted, that copped. I didn't realize they were this limited. Too bad I have to work today. But I'm off tomorrow! On feets coming tomorrow.

What color do you suggest? I personally love the orange laces myself, but am willing to keep an open mind.

All I need are the Beethoven and I will be satisfied with the IX. Nike would make an absolute killing if they gave out the Flyknit low in EM portions.

So glad the hype train seems to have finally left the highs behind just in time for these Influences.  This release had all the makings of a crazy release.  Very limited shoe, crazy bright colors, and they only released at NDC and HOH for the most part.  If these had released two months ago under the same conditions, it would have been an absolute circus.  Just shows how fickle people in this game are.

So glad I was finally able to get this pair with relative ease since I really wanted them after first seeing pic!!
