I probably wouldn't wear them on outside courts. That extra sticky grip on the sole will wear out pretty quickly. Order a pair with a xdr bottom if you really want to hoop outside. Those soles are designed for the streets

Kobes are the worst now for outdoor courts. The rubber is thinner than ever since the 8. Either get xdr or some other shoe. While the traction on the shoe indoor is better now, It was def a play on nikes part knowing they would wear out faster leading to people to have to buy more pairs.

anyone else have to do a lace swap on their Philippines because the red ones weren't long enough to lace tightly when balling?

I immediately swapped the navy laces in to play ball since they're thicker.

I don't know if the navy laces are any longer than the red ones, but I haven't had an issue lacing them up tightly when I play. They're definitely shorter than the laces on the 8s - which is a good thing, IMO.
