The IDs have been much better than the releases. Nothing even remotely hot to me except the fkl gray

the soles on the mj's were flawlessly executed. "walking on the moon" literally was an awesome concept, however the overall shoe was not executed well. I personally would've preferred a black and silver colorway (reminiscent of his BAD tour outfits) or maybe red/black/grey for "Beat it" and "Thriller" videos. even black and white (a reverse Beethoven-esque) with the moonsoles would've been better.
I honestly have to see them in person, I didn't like the Christmas kobe 7s until I saw them in person. maybe these can turn me, but i'm not impressed currently. Plus I already have enough all purple shoes.

So you first state you'd be selling because they are ugly, and purple shoes are uncool. All fine and good, but you haven't bought them yet, so if you don't like them don't buy them. But you are saying they are ugly and not cool, I AM gonna buy them then sell them. Ok. You'd need to resell the Hyper grapes for around $450 to "pay for" the Beethovens. Good luck on that, but hopefully someone who wants them to wear will get your pair and you'll be shut out.
I love the dudes out there that think sneakers are like a legit hustle. Can you make some cash off the shoe game? Yes. Can you make a lot? Yes, that's possible too. All economy of scale. But flipping 8-12 or even 8-16 pairs of shoes a month even at double retail does not make you a gangster. Sorry.

I don't see the point in making the direct comparison anyway, completely different shoe, different materials, sole hugely different. My bet is like the Fk highs, these are gonna look incredible in hand. People will be salty if they sleep on these.

Not me. IMO the MJs don't take advantage of the flyknit. They could have done the same model on the EMs. Not feeling the Beethovens either. I passed on the Details, Golds and I'll pass on another white/black/grey based cw.
I'm holding out for a cw that's more inline with the the MP or gumsoled HTMs, but I feel like nothing like that is on the horizon based on the other cw descriptions.

Overall I'm super disappointed in the Kobe 9. Elites look cool but don't perform well nor are they comfortable to me. The lows are not nearly as nice as the 8s.
