Don't get me wrong it's still a nice shoe, I just think nike missed on a couple opportunities with this shoe. Weaving in multiple colors, or shades of flyknit would have set this shoe off a million times more. When done correctly flyknit mixes can be beautiful. Also as I mentioned the swoosh could also have been tweaked, as well as the laces IMO

I might need to grab a pair of the Flyknit as my next gym shoes.  My Kobe 8's are getting beat and it's almost time for a new pair. I missed the days when Nike mass GR their Kobe line and they would eventually all go on sale. I don't think I saw many of the 8's and definitely no 9's that I've wanted go on sale. For $200 on the Flyknit elites, I might as well ID a pair...I want to try them on first for fit. I'm hearing both TTS and half size up. For those who have worn the Kobe line the last couple of years, do the Elite Flyknit low fit more like the Kobe IV-VII or Kobe VIII?

Very Nice! I had two pairs of inline 4s and I donated them after beating them up. I wish I kept the laces :/

That's what the Masterpiece's, Showtime's, and Detail's are for. They made these like this for a reason. Can't please everyone, but I think they made the right choice for this particular pair. *shrugs*

I have not received my pair yet but from all the IG posts I have seen of the Hyper Grapes I agree with you. HEAT IMO

@solecali  I think they feel like the 8s with the Kobe 1s padding. If that helps. Buying the MJs at retail is still cheaper than IDs tho. It looks like stores are taking coupons for them too. If nike hadn't taken the multi-color option out I'd say they were a good deal, but the MJs might in fact be the cheapest option.

I have NO IDEA how you went down half a size on the FK lows. These things are snug TTS.

 I know, I know... they are very snug.  I have a very narrow foot.  

I was stubborn and bought the grapes in the half size down since I ordered an MC iD that way... almost wishing they would work.

It seems like Nike had to make the last for the EMs and Elite lows a bit smaller to account for the support in heel slip. If they were as sloppy as the highs they wouldn't play well at all.

After playing in the highs, I feel that they needed more padding inside around the ankle area to keep your heel in place.

That is my only complaint with the highs other than the awkward sizing.

Thanks. I had the 1's but played in them outdoors. They only lasted about four or five months before they had to be retire. Got them for $50 at the outlets so I didn't care. 

 Ok, I half size up on the ZK1's so I'll probably need to go a half size up on the Flyknit too. I have a NDC coupon code so the ID pair will probably be less than the retail pair. I might have to double up.

LOL that's funny saw that real quick too

I originally planned on just the MJs or Beethovens, but I need both especially since I could wear Beethovens with almost everything

So happy we got flyknit lows, hoping for more colors too
