Not that big of a deal to me, but like @Piston Honda  said at 225 you'd hope to get the best quality.

The toe box on that will be grey after one use. Ok color but will get horrible looking after and handful of wears.

What am I missing in this pic? I see the hyperfuse material looking a bit close which is no big deal but what's wrong with the red stitches?

Looks like the whole array of red stitching on the right shoe is shifted up 1/5 inch.

Semi agree. I get that they'll get torn up anyway but for the price you'd expect the best product possible. It's like buying a shirt with one sleeve longer than the other and shrugging it off because it'll get messed up anyway

i think the lighting is making those EM low's look worse than they actually are.

i have 2 IDs with white EM and they've been worn more than 1 game (albeit, not NBA game, but still..) and they're not that bad.

At $225 I would hope that Nike has better quality control, but it's not that big of a deal where I'd return the shoes or complain to Nike about it.

No arguing or complaining. Well aware of the quality of Nike shoe's just stating what others usually complain about.  Personally I've never gotten a shoe from Nike with any major issues.  Maybe a glue stain here or there but no worse than what I'm gonna do to them playing ball or wearing casually.

There are 3 different types of mesh on the EM lows. Medium mesh holes to small mesh holes to big mesh holes.

I don't understand the affinity for the white/yellow/black Elites, or these lows for that matter...

Flyknit on the Elites are gonna be a dirt magnet, while the lows don't seem to be anything special to me from the 8s... especially for the $20 increase.

But there are just gonna be different "factions" who complain about different things. Funny how this colorway never caused any debates when it was used on the 6s...

Thats a pretty strong statement to say you would cop 10 times out of 10. In other words, if you could, you would get the pair 10 times. They're nothing too hot. I think some people just like the idea behind the "Amnesty" comment on Mark Cuban. And some people like them because they were one of the first solid color based mesh for the 8's and people were complaining that they weren't getting plain colorways anymore.
