went ot my local FTL to try sign up for the Kobe 9 lows (quite a few sizes remaining), saw the actual shoe

 I held for about a minute and decided to pass on them. They look ok but for some reason it feels more like a bulkier Nike Free Run, not sure if it was a good thing of a bad thing but I think i'll stick with the elites for now until some other cw catches my attention

Would anyone agree with me when I say that the Kobe 9 is one of the greatest shoes ever put together?

The only thing I'm not a fan of is the cushioning. I prefer max zoom or zoom air.

I like this CW. But prefer MP. Anyone hoop in these? Do you lace it all the way? I feel the lace isn't long enough for my 8.5. Only makes it to the 2nd top loop

I wear 8.5 too, and have the same feeling. It's defeinitely not long enough. I've hooped about 10 hours total in my inspirations and lace them to the 2nd to last lace hole, and semi-tight. Feels great. And the traction on these

Would you prefer 8s or the 9 elite? I thought nothing can too the 8s! Gunna hoop in these tmr.

9's, partially because I have a bum left ankle, and the 9's give me more confidence to cut and jump harder on the court. I prefer the stability of the 9. Also, the 9 has better court feel IMO because the outsole is thinner than the 8. Lateral movement, pivoting and pushing off, feel so great in the 9's; it's a revelation.

At first glance the Easter's were just kinda meh to me but I think its cuz Im not a huge fan of that volt color Nike loves to slap on almost every release nowadays. Wonder what these would look like with a lace swap..

Cats were just SAYING that, bc most of em had been Red so far... but even the NRG's wasn't Red, so those killed that idea a long time ago. 

Actually Kobe said himself that all of the CWs will have red stitching, but I'm guessing that's not the case with lows. And I guess with the elites he meant like all the more available color ways.

Pretty sure he meant the "Stitches" period... and they were probably just only Red at the time he said it. Even then, he just meant the Stitches period...

NRGs not having red stitches were supposed to make them "special" from the standard releases, in someone's words, I forgot who.

In addition to switching out the insoles, put some Dr. Scholl's powder in your socks. They'll absorb the moisture and stank.

We've seen the High top and Engineered Mesh Low top 9's. They both look amazing and incredible. Now I can't wait to see what else the Kobe 9 has in store.

I am a size 9, and I bought my last Kobe 9 "detail" in size 8.5 and they fit me perfectly.

Here are side by side two size 9 pairs of XX8 & KB9. The Kobe 9 looks smaller and nonetheless I needed one half size less than the XX8.

You should try them.

I pull the midsole out and put it against my foot. My toes are all the way at the edge. So definitely need a sz11 my normal size.
