I also remember reading that the inspiration for some of the diamond designs/motifs on a couple of the Kobe sigs comes from the name of one of his daughters.

I honestly think the "diamond cut" upper is just meant to allude to the flyknit pattern, but replicated in leather. Look at the placement of the perforations, its all strategic to knit patterns on the others.
I think I'm going to have to see it in person, when you got people saying "it looks like (insert crappy cheap shoe here)" and then posting a pic and it UNDENIABLY looks like some junk, then its hard to argue that they will be great. BUT, if you just said to me "Theres a MID Kobe 9 EXT coming. Its black with black snake and has a GUM SOLE" I would be like HOTDAMN ROBOCOP. So I dunno yet...need time and more pics.
As of now, I'm taking that Red October comment to mean "We're not getting pictures til October"

I think the debate for highs vs lows depends on your style of play
If you're a post player that likes to block shots, rebound and play help defense, highs are you for
If you're a perimeter player that drives and shoots jump shots, lows are for you
I think its interesting the some people don't like the Kobe 9 Flyknit low, I find the Kobe 8 to be too filmsy feeling

Dont usually like the think pinks, but those minus the pink socks (lol) are nice. Black/pink is a much better combo than pink/white.

From what some have stated, just a lifestyle shoe. But they look like they can be put to use on the court as well, IMO.

I'm not understanding the huge difference with the black nike check it's the same ****.. They are switched on the inside so what's the problem.. The inside is completely white it makes no sense to put a white swoosh on the inside. Mainly all flyknits the swoosh is switched I'm sure you guys didn't think they'd make both swooshes black.
