i lived in a safe one and they left them always and never was touched.

meanwhile, my last apartment complex, even if you left a note to leave them by your steps, they wouldn't won't to be liable.

then other neighbors would get off work and UPS man would be gone. so everyone complained, therefore UPS just left them in the office.

Hey guys, thought i just say before i ask a question. im from New Zealand so my knowledge of the United States is pretty minimal. But i am on the Hunt for a Pair of Kobe 9 Elite Low University Red shoes to ball in. We have a main trading site over here called Trademe.com 

A guy is selling a pair for $399, obviously he copped them and is trying to make a bit of money. Is that worth it? i know they are obviously popular

I have a cousin in the states who can get a set of shoes over to me if i need to, but i havent been able to come across any websites that are stocking size 9.6, e.g. nike re stocks or east bay e.t.c

But i would like to buy off Ebay but i dont know what is fake and what isnt and it is a big risk for me to buy a pair on ebay and then get them brought over to New Zealand to find they are fake,

Does the Jordan 29 use something similar. I never tried one on but by feel just felt like all woven upper. Nike could have done all flyknit I would assume. They have a similar setup as far as the placement of shank plate being on the side of the shoe and the heel counter on the back.

The woven upper on the 29s definitely feels more flexible than the flyknit upper on the Kobe 9s, but that woven material also seems to be more densely put together compared to flyknit. From reading reviews on the 29s, the ventilation isn't that great, which probably shows how tightly packed together the woven fibers are. I think because of how dense the fibers are on the upper, the 29s have enough support to last on court without needing too much additional stuff like a layer of glue for support/backing. From what I've read, they were also able to specifically target different parts of the 29's woven upper to have more or less fiber density where it's necessary. I haven't played in the 29s yet though, so I can't speak from personal experience what I think of the upper on court.

Flyknit on the other hand is usually pretty thin, perforated, and very flexible if you think about some of the other flyknit models, and I don't know if they had the same level of control over choosing how to weave flyknit fibers together as they did with putting the 29's woven upper together. I'm not sure if there's much info out there comparing the two processes, but I'd be kinda curious to learn more about it. Maybe because of the differences in how those 2 uppers are constructed, they simply needed to add that glue backing/structure in order to extend the 9's on court lifespan. I know some people who were used to the soft flyknit uppers on the runners and NSW shoes were disappointed about how stiff the 9's upper is, but for performance's sake and longevity, you do need a higher level of support/rigidity for basketball. Otherwise you kinda risk pulling a Ginobili and having your foot bust right through the shoe on a hard cut.

I do. I got half a size up on flyknit lows and I use it for hooping

Yeah sold out pretty quick. I could of got a size up but after trying my Gold highs that are half a size up i decided not to.

I actually prefer the half size up on the Elite Highs. They just feel more comfortable especially when your wearing thicker socks. Half size up for me on all the Kobe IX's.
