Snakeskins are beyond ugly and pretty feminine looking.

I can see why some people don't like them or consider them ugly. I think the feminine connotation comes from VB debuting them and from the chrome. Both are bad moves. Should of had Kobe wear them, and they should have done the chrome accents in carbon fiber. Profile/silo wise it's not that different than Nike SFB's or Oakley boots, neither of which would be considered feminine.

They're a cool sneaker, great quality, but a tricky one to look good depending on what you wear them with!

Yeah, not an everyday wear kinda shoe. I'll end up getting a pair, but I will black out those chrome hits. I'd still like to see a shot with some dark selvedge denim.

I posted 3 new elite cws a few pages back and release date on them is within the next few months... KB9 have been delayed and moved around on Nike launch schedule, so an exact date is unknown

the only pair of kobe ix's I have purchased is the snakeskin EXT's.

none of the other called for a purchase from me (except the MP's but those were damn near impossible to find) and I've been payin attention to them since the first colorway surfaced way back.

anyway, im glad you all hate em. I know exactly what kinda traffic comes through nike basketball threads and I kno exactly what type of shoes you guys eat up. I decided a year and 1/2 ago that im done with THOSE TYPE's of shoes.

I have changed the type of shoes I buy over and i was 2nd thinkin payin the price I paid for the snakeskin EXT's. the fact that everyone in THIS thread hates em just lets me kno I picked the right ix to purchase.

I now know that any shoe that receives a mass amount of hate in a nike basketball thread is PERFECT for me.

Im glad you like what you bought and are happy with it but man this logic is flawed in so many ways.

Do you buy shoes that YOU actually like??? Based on what your saying it doesn't seem that way. Who cares if a shoe is hyped and everyone will eat it up. If you like it , you like it. I would never buy shoes just because everyone in an online forum hates them.
