Nah the reds have a "spikey" texture a la the red october, with snake scale pattern on the heel. The blacks have the 6 texture.

I had just said something similar. Especially with the CW's they have done, the black would have looked much better.

Fortunately you can buy the auto quality 4D carbon fiber vinyl sticker stuff and just cover the shiny stuff. I'll use a pair of EM's to cut the pieces to size on.

I think that if the mold or w/e was left alone and some other part of the shoe was tweaked, like the mirrors, then it'd be a product worth being excited about.. IMO

I think the shape is a bit odd because it's all leather/synthetic leather, and therefore bulkier, built on the same last as the elite high, dunno for sure though. But I know what you mean.

$275 is steep, and I wish the outsole was gum or clear black, or clear blue, or anything but opaque black, but if the opportunity presents itself I will cop.

I do like these EXT's better than most EXT stuff Nike has done. Besides these I really have only liked the LeBron 10 stuff and the KD Floral. I guess the Kobe 8's weren't bad either.

Blacks are the best out of all the EXT highs, but that $275 price is a no go. I do plan on getting the mids at some point though. Had to pass when they originally dropped.
