That's possible, would be another dumb move but possible. He started actively promoting about 3 or 4 months after the shoes release. If they didn't use his name there was no need to pay him to promote but then why wait till after the release to sign him and not use his name ?

I just think it's funny that only one site had them and they went on sale. Still had every size. Then the lawsuit comes out and might not release in the US and two websites sell out within a few days. It's very possible.

Which two websites sold out? SNS still has sizes, crooked tongues has a full size run so does 43einhalb and http://www.titolo.ch has pairs. Only reason pairs on SNS have been selling is because it's the lowest price, reasonable and the possibility they might not drop here but pairs aren't flying out the door over this lawsuit. Most people are going to wait it out.

SNS went from a full size run to 2-3 sizes within 48 hours almost. Solestop sold out of the black pair it said.

You're getting too serious about this. No one said this was real or not. I'm just saying it's definitely possible.

No where did I say or "act" like its impossible I said its HIGHLY UNLIKELY. My OPINION is, its foolish to believe that a company like Reebok would have an endorser sue them to sell a few hundred shoes. Stores have put in orders on these months ago and not received anything so its pretty obvious if they were trying to hype this shoe up and sell thousands of pairs they would have shipped these things out BEFORE the lawsuit.

My man, I'm going to side with trethousandgt on this. Reebok could've simply goofed on the trademarks as their current management is not the same as it was in the 90s. They may have simply taken for granted what they can or cannot reproduce without explicit permission.

If that Finishline tweet is forreal, then people jumped the gun and overpaid for these on SNS. They'll sit hard in the States and will be had for around $30-40 on clearance

I hear you. And if you don't like dealing with CityGear, there will be plenty of other options to grab these for dirt cheap. If A.I., Shaq, and Kemp's sneakers are going for $40-50, then Frank's shoes will easily hit $30-40 and maybe even less. We're talking Payless Shoes figures

Which is not good for us Reebok fans as they are already skimping on the materials by running suede and pleather. I think a happy medium would be for Reebok to drop all their kicks at $90-$110 vs. pricing them at $120-$140 and having them slashed heavy. There is only a very small window to move your product these days - as Nike/JB keep dropping boatloads of 'hyped/desirable' product (and I use the word desirable, very very loosely) every damn weekend.

depends on how you look at it, though the shoes get slashed heavily, they're already paid for by the stores when they ordered them, i've paid retail for several reeboks, the comfort is hard to beat, at the same time i've gotten alot of great deals espc during the 02 and 06 retro's on questions

royal pair isnt horrible just not an OG colorway but if the midsole was black or blue would have made them better
