Reebok Big Hurt Retro First Look - via KATC

You just gotta be patient. Im sure these will release here but without the name

They should piss frank off and call them the big baseball

Lol I don't think that's going to happen. It's either all or nothing with these, they've already been sold and marketed as Frank Thomas shoe. Had they done that originally then yea they would be straight

These are showing up in Taiwan, not sure how legit they are or what not but it doesn't appear that they will make their way to the US anytime soon. Whats interesting is the Big Hurt logo is missing from the insole and the title of the listing is for the BH Classic.

C'mon brother, I'm sure that even the variant makers have profit margins. The likelihood of an ugly, retro+ colour of a Reebok baseball trainer that has had all affiliation to the signature athlete removed will have little to no likelihood netting any type of profit!

I guess it's safe to assume that the shoe won't be dropping in the US at this point in time.

Reason I say I don't know how legit they r is because I've heard some things circulating from those in the industry of what's going on with this shoe in specific. Since I can't confirm it I just went with that. Either way I'm with you can't see these coming stateside

It's all good Tre, I was just taking a cheap shot at Reebok (and the variant makers) for dropping the ball on this shoe. :D

These are only available overseas?

This was discussed a while back fam, but Frank Thomas put the 'hurt' on these because Reebok did not reach out to him for permission to use the 'Big Hurt' moniker and the associated logos. As a result these aren't on sale in N.America until some sort of settlement/agreement is reached between FT and Adibok.

or until they swap out the insoles

or until they swap out the insoles

Doubtful at this stage my man. If it was just a matter of swapping insoles and replacing the box label they would've done so already by RTVing the shoes and having a shift at the warehouse replace/swap them.

I worked for Nike when some lames cried foul over those 'Rising Sun' retro XIIs from a few years back. Shoes weren't sent to the stores so they had the warehouse staff swap them for generic soles and then dispatch them. If anyone were to cry foul it should've been over how lacklustre those 'banana boat' shoes were - not an insole but I digress.

Back on topic, I think FT and his legal team have put a 'stop sale' order on Adibok as far as this model is concerned in N.America.

Oh so these are out of production. Well damn Frankie
