All I really heard is that he's most likely a starter going into Week 1 after probably beating out Josh Robinson for that LCB spot and that at OTA's he really put his physicality and instincts on display. His skill level was better than any of the other VIkings CB's.

Thing is... when you actually go to the article, it's like he's saying it in jest and he actually is quoted saying "he's pulling for all his friends on the team and wants the team to do extremely well".

FYI... my predictions.

Packers: 11-5 (again)
Vikings: 9-7
Bears: 8-8
Lions: 6-10
 
i'll be honest. we need another receiver. one leg burleson and 2 time acl tear ryan broyles aren't high on my list.

This is what I have been saying. I have no idea why the Lions wouldn't have taken a flier in the late round of the draft on a guy like Da'Rick Rodgers from Tennessee. Sure he had an attitude problem in school but if it worked out he would have been a huge problem for other teams playing opposite of Calvin. We need a bigger body on the other side than Broyles and Burelson is old and done.

Yeah last time we took a troubled receiver it worked out so well.

You can't have all pros at every position.

If Broyles is healthy the receiving core will be fine.

If the Lions sweep the Vikings, I pay up.

If the Vikings sweep the Lions, you pay up.

Simple as that, no other scenario.

And I know the schedules are out, but I haven't looked into the other NFC North teams besides the Vikings yet, so I don't want to predict records yet. There's always a few teams that some NFC North teams play that others don't.
