Is RIF.LA legit

I think it would have been alright if I got some decent response fro RIF. All I got was "send it back" from some dips@@t who sounds stoned already.

Listen, I love collecting Jordans but dealing with these kind of people really got me pissed
 
Email them the pictures and send them back, RIFLA will fix it. Then you have paypal as a back up
 
Listen, they don't take Paypal anymore. I called them before ordering the shoes. They said they only take credit cards now. If they don't refund me, I have to call my credit card company or go to small claims court. I don't think small claims could even applies because the shoe was over $500
 
Your credit card will handle it , and most Jordan 3s are usually already creased even brand new. Double check to make sure you didn't purchase a pair of used shoes also.
 
Sounds good. I checked the order and it was ordered as Brand New. I wanted a DS so I paid extra even though the had used ones for 100's less.
 
Thanks for showing that email update. I just sent them another inquiry through that email address.

Just a quick update: They received the returned shoes on Friday through UPS. They still haven't initiated the refund.

I will given them a day, and if they don't respond, I am going call them again.

I just saw the same size pair at P4P shoes. I asked them to send a picture so same thing don't happen again. P4P said the brand new pair is DS with shoe trees and size stickers. They said they don't send pictures unless a pair is worn already. I am going to explain my experience with RIF LA and REQUEST a pic of DS shoes. If the pair is DS, I am going to buy it. Hopefully, I will finally have my DS black cement III'S.
 
Bump man, sorry to hear about your issues man. Makes me not even want to check them out over issues like the one you have experienced. I wanted to order some kicks from them too, but maybe I'll just check out other my other options instead...
 
Really RIF?....BAD BUSINESS fellas!.. You a**holes should give this kid a FULL refund and a damn written apology...Dude blow their ***** up all over the net for this one..Completely UNACCEPTABLE for a company of that status.

LETS NOT FORGET JEFF AND ED MADE RIF WHAT IT IS TODAY, BUT EVER SINCE THE KIDS STARTED TO RUN IT.....WEAK SAUCE! RIF HASENT BEEN THE SAME IS YEARS IMO

Thanks for the support guys. Just an update:

I got my refund but they did not give me the refund for shipping it back. So basically, I went through a 2 weeks of hassle and I am out $20.77 for return UPS shipping. Also, they have listed a newly arrived "Brand New" Black Cement III in size 10. I suspect that it is the one I returned. I would ask for photos of this shoes before investing in a DS black cement III from RIF

Sounds to me like they still owe you $20.77...Id call, email and txt them bastards EVERYDAY to get that..An im not cheap, but this is principle!..They gotta take that loss, not you fam..You didnt drop the ball here.. Id call the damn mayor for my $20.77..Hahahaha

From my point of view any "contactural" clauses..Meaning "buyer pays return shipping" should be void in this case bc essentially RIF violated the contract and actually committed a type of fraud called a "bait and switch" They SOLD you DS kicks, they SHIPPED you some used, not tried on but USED kicks..This is completely a no no..Maybe you should call back ask for the OWNER and pollitly remind him of this.

If your CC has fraud protection, i believe this case MAY also qualify.

I agree with you 100%. I asked them if they are going to reimburse me for the return shipping and they sent me a one liner saying they will mail me a check. I hope they really follow up on this. I don't want to spend another week dealing with this.
 
BTW, I was thinking of buying a replacement from P4P shoes after getting a refund but now I don't want to take a chance. I repeatedly asked Brendon from Pound 4 Pound for picture of a brand new 2011 Black Cement III but he keeps saying they stand by their products and DS shoes doesn't need a picture check. I am not taking chances anymore after what happened with RIF LA.

I have already have 2011 white cement III, 2013 white cement III retro 88, and 2014 infrared III, all DS. I am not bragging but these III's are all that I need to make me happy

Take a shot..I mean lighting cant strike twice right? I honestly believe that RIF thing was 1/1,000,000..

Its either that or find a face to face deal.. Also an FYI, DS pairs can be had for between $350-$400 as well..Nothing wrong with Ebay if you know what to look for or have an LC first also..I still say thats hands down the BEST place to buy kicks if you follow a very strict protocol..

I think I should take my time looking for my holy grail of DS Jordan III black cement. I probably run LC on deals on eBay and kixify here on NT and just enjoy the searching process in stead of putting all my faith on resellers.

Just FYI, apparently Manny from RIF now works at Pound4Pound...  He's one of the "kids" Cali J mentioned above.

I went through the same horror with rif recently I ordered a pair of whit cement 3s ds and they came gently used stains fur balls and all.. I contacted them showed them pics they said are you from out of state??? They're running scams on their site apparently. I was then told to mail them back I sent it by ups and they said they would pay for the shipping never did. I was issued a refund. I contacted them about my refund for shipping three times now twice they responded saying they did and then would mail a check it's been a month & a half now no check for my $31 dollars.. I guess flight club is the only place to hunt for grails.
