Can somebody tell me what they think?

Plus: I got a option to trade Welker for Gore, let me know if it's worth it.

Love your team. Wilson and Ridley will have huge years and you should get steady to really good production from the rest of your starters. Nice grab on Jordan Cameron as well. I wouldn't do that trade just yet. You may have a replacement starter in Hopkins, but then it hurts your depth and I have a feeling the Niners won't give Gore the same workload as in the past with James stealing some carries. Plus I think you're Martin/Ridley/Bernard combo is a good starting spot with some handcuffs mixed in. Perfect balance, bro.

No such thing as too RB heavy. I've found that it's the FA pickups at the RB spot that end up winning me leagues in fantasy. You've got a few waves of those FA pickups on your roster to begin with so sit tight to see how it plays out because while your starting RB's are good, they're not great. QB and WR is very solid and should keep you more than competitive. Overall I think you'll be fine so long as one of your RB's hits it big.

Not a crash and burn in my opinion. T.Y. is that stud receiver. He will explode onto the scene this year if you don't already know him. What worries me about that team is the RB spot. I would definitely look into trading Rodgers. QB depth is insane and you can probably get a really good back if someone is willing to actually trade.
t.y. as your number one.  cause that is what a stud wr is.  he is boarderline number 2 if your solid in rb area. if you think he is a number one wr which means top 15 please save some coin and jump into my leagues.

good job budd. little tweek might be to trade wilson and take to the foster owner if he has a qb like romo , stafford , ryan , cam.  then you will sit pretty. i would keep shaub cause a couple years ago when foster was hurt shaub was a top 5 qb and now he has a new toy in hopkins.

Had to drop Le'Veon Bell.. So who should I pick up between either of these two?

Rashad Jennings
Stepfan Taylor

Both are clear cut backups to two guys who I think won't make it through an entire season
DMC and Mendenhall.

I was in the same boat but decided to cut my backup QB instead and got Dwyer. Another guy in the league picked up Redman
I'm banking on Dwyer starting out of the 2 but I guess we will find out who gets the nod on Saturday

He'll have around top 15 numbers. Top 15 is a lengthy group. He's not Calvin, Larry, A.J., or others, but he will be right behind them. He's Lucks #1 guy and a stud...Just watch. Anyway, I don't play that #1 or #2 guy becaue there's not enough to go around. I go for production all across the board and he's going to get it with Welker, Colston and Hilton.

my friend setup a league on yahoo, can anybody tell me how I can search for it on there or another way to find it?

Ended up with the 1st pick in my 8-team, $2,000 league. :smh:

Not sure how I feel about this, I really didn't want that pick. If we are allowed to make trades, I would love to swap it for #4, the middle of the pack is my comfort zone.

Who should I go with? I'm thinking AP.

Just making sure, being that it's only 8 teams I was thinking about taking Peyton (QBs usually go early) and grabbing 2 RBs with my next two picks. This league caters to the TDs and big plays, the commish hasn't changed the rules since they started this league in 2000 :smh:

RB/WR/TE (25 YARDS = 1PT, TD = 6PT, 100 YARDS = 4PT BONUS) .. If you end up with 99 yards, no TDs, that's only 3 pts! :smh:
QB (50 YARDS = 1PT, TD = 6PT, 300 YARDS = 4PT BONUS, 400 YARDS = 5PT BONUS) .. If you end up with 299 yards, no TDs or INTs, thats only 6 pts!

Defense doesn't lose points no matter how many points they give up, plus 6 bonus points for a shut out.

These guys are sooo old school, I sent out an email to get some of the rules changed, hopefully that happens this year!

you said he is a wr stud and a number 1 wr.

1- have you herd of reggie wayne

2- around top 15 could mean top 20-25 and is not good enuf to win most leagues....maybe yours.

3- somebody get the word out to reggie that t.y, is the number 1 guy. i'm sure the team playing def will put there best db on t.y. instead of wayne.
mean.gif

4-where did you see welker in his lineup. maybe i'm not see things right.....just saying.

5- check your adp list again , plent of good wr / right now i have t.y. at wr26 on my wr adp list.

with all this said i do like t.y.hilton and think he can with a little luck (
wink.gif
) get into that wr 18-20 range. is it good enuf for your wr1 on your fantasy team...hell no

My mistake on Welker and your condescending tone is ridiculous and has run its course. This "maybe in your league" is silly. I've won more than my fair share of fantasy football championships kid. And the reason is because I have players on my team that hit it big before people like yourself know their true value.

Secondly, Wayne is well into the twilight of his career and it's not that far fetched whatsoever if you watched Luck and Hilton's development to believe Hilton will soon surpass Wayne as the #1 guy.

Check the list yourself...I don't need none of that. I didn't say take the guy in the first round, but given where he probably got him, he's gonna have tremendous value. Read your fantasy books all you want because I know the game and that's worth more to me.

1- was not meant as condescending

2-i'm not a kid

3- i won more money in well respected leagues than some people make in a year

4- been on more radio shows than you been in leagues.

5-don't need to argue with you

Ended up with the 1st pick in my 8-team, $2,000 league. :smh:

Not sure how I feel about this, I really didn't want that pick. If we are allowed to make trades, I would love to swap it for #4, the middle of the pack is my comfort zone.

Who should I go with? I'm thinking AP.
nice league budd....good luck. put you feet up , get a cold beer and twist one up and smile saying the letters AP.  no matter what happens you made the right choice.

:nthat:

Now send some of that luck to our Boys, we gonna need it this year, especially our OL :smh:

Well we are and given where he got T.Y. and the value he'll get along with Colston and James Jones, I think his WR's will be just fine.Having three #2 guys is ample if you have Rodgers at Q (or 10 other qb's) and get an above average RB, which is what he needs to do.

There's lots of people on the radio that don't know as much as me.

Now, I'm sure you know your stuff, but I'm more confident in what I know then I am trusting others' opinions. That's just what it comes down to given what I've seen and experienced. But what really got me is definitely the condescending tone. If you really didn't mean sound like that then I would seriously reconsider how you talk to people. You're tryin' to throw jabs every where you can in that post.

is there somewhere i could look to see which starting RBs and WRs are punt/kickoff return men?

return yardage is a new stat thrown into one of my leagues and was trying to plan for it accordingly.

Should I try to make any trades and who would you put in the Flex (RB/WR)?

Should I drop Lance Moore for someone like Josh Gordon who's sitting on waivers? Thoughts?
