OFFICIAL 2013 FANTASY FOOTBALL TALK

Sole: Marshall is top-5 fantasy undisputed. Arguably top-3.

Megatron, Dezzy, AJ. Marshall, Demaryius, Fitz, Julio.

Trestman is an offensive guru. Should help Cutler, Forte, Marshall, Bennett, Alshon even more.

EJ: You'll be starting Hilton in the Flex in no time. Bernard will steal Law Firm's value.

Trestman claims Forte will be more involved, particularly for goal line touches so keep an eye on Chicago before adding Bush. Hunter is not the best handcuff because LaMike could take reps from both.

PPR League-10 teams, 1st pick

QB-Andrew Luck
RB-Adrian Peterson
RB-Chris Johnson
WR-AJ Green
WR-Randall Cobb
TE-Jared Cook
Flex-Darren McFadden
Def-New England
K-Justin Tucker

Bench-Desean Jackson, Tavon Austin, Shane Vereen, Fred Davis, Andy Dalton

Man i thought I KILLED the draft....then I got the Yahoo! report card projecting me 8 out of 10th.:smh:

I don't think you can win when it comes to your Yahoo! report card

Baik: Upgrade that RB2. I like Mendy but as a RB3 Bench or Flex at best.

Move Jordy or Wayne to do so.

Floyd is good enough to start your Flex by season's end.

Finley a bit inconsistent for my taste at TE.

Here's my team from my first draft over the weekend. I had the 7th pick.

I felt I started strong but in the later rounds...meh. Give me your honest input.

bruh, you are going to cook with that team. Cook's still a big ? to me but hopefully a new team and a new QB will help him break out

EDIT:  I just dropped EJ Manuel and picked up Blackmon.

easily my worst pick in that draft

LOL....

somebody in my league dropped Lamar Miller............and picked up Peyton Hillis. no lie.

I about spit my coffee out as I hit 'add player'!!

Ended up getting snaked on the waiver wire by somebody else...... >::smh:

10 team League Non PPR the rest is standard scoring.

QB: Ben Rothelisberger, Carson Palmer

RB: Jamal Charles, Matt forte, Lamar Miller, Chris Ivory

WR: Andre Johnson, Reggie Wayne, Hakeem Nicks, T.Y. Hilton, Tavon Austin

TE: Jimmy Graham, Jared Cook

DEF: Pitt

K: Dan Baliey

My Yahoo Report Card gave me a dead-last ranking

Certified: Shady is not a reach at 4 by any means in PPR. He's good for at least 40 receptions a season. Posted 20 total tubs in 2011. Chip's a genius offensively. Shady has the best cutback ability in the league.

Who else are you considering?

I'd take Martin over Shady. But not Rice or Foster.

Charles deserves consideration.

Cruz: In a 10 teamer you'd like to have a better Q. Ben has chemistry issues with Haley, although I believe it will improve this season. Palmer is a sleeper but you don't want him as your opening day starter.

I'm not high on Dre. He doesn't post double digit TD's. He's aging and at the tail end of his career. Nuk could shine as a result.

LHS: I'd stash Bell. You have nothing to lose with him as a RB4. Who would you drop?

Percy is a wait and see. The timetable is indefinite. I'm adding him if I get a comfortable 3-1, 4-0 start.

Diew: Rudolph easily. He's proven. Ponder's security blanket. Patterson will help open the field. Rudolph is a TD machine despite small yards count.

Zyzz: The secret is out on Thompkins. His ADP is now inflated. I find owners are reaching for him.

I have a keen eye for Dobson instead.

Venom: I hold you to a higher standard. The 12 teamer, I love Cameron, Dezzy, and A. Brown. But you lack RB depth and I don't love Wilson because of Dre Brown.

I don't think you can win when it comes to your Yahoo! report card

i think yahoo goes by how high ranked your team is. if you auto draft, you will guarantee an A because it shows that you didn't reach for any player and you picked the players who are on the top of the list every time

Señor Chang: Like what I see. Rotate Miller and Gio in the Flex once Law Firm loses the bulk of carries.

Hilton in the Flex.

Have a feeling you went high on Gonzalez in a 12 teamer. He's legit but I wait until the later rounds and try to strike gold on a Housler, Cameron, Sudfeld, etc.

Had my money league tonight (12 teams, ESPN)

QB: Eli Manning, Joe Flacco

RB: Trent Richardson, Reggie Bush, Bilal Powell

WR: Victor Cruz, Eric Decker, Torrey Smith, Kenny Britt, Kenbrell Thompkins, Ryan Broyles

TE: Jason Witten, Fred Davis

DEF: Bengals, Panthers

K: Sebastian Janikowski

Missed out on both my sleepers in Hilton & Bernard.

Came away with Thompkins tho.

Thoughts?

Freddie: You could use an upgrade at the QB position. Utilize your immense WR depth to secure the quarterback position. One Q start or two?

We'll see Trestman's impact on Cutler, and Ben's relationship with Haley.

Job well done for receivers. Nicks and Finley are surplus. Cameron is your starter. Big preseason. Weeden's biggest weapon. Chud and Norv utilize the TE extremely well and often.

Shorts is legit, underrated. Packaging Nicks, Finley, Cutler or Ben could land you an elite QB plus more. If you choose that route.

LES: Could use an upgrade at QB. I don't love Eli or Flacco.

RB and WR depth solid.

I never hold two DEF. Drop one and add a fourth RB.

Could package Fred Davis in a trade.

Diew: My brother and I always play the waiver wire for K and DEF. I literally wait until the last two rounds to select either.

I play matchups, obviously putrid offensives are helpful. But also opportunistic defenses. Takeaways (plus/minus), turnover ratio, player personnel, potential for defensive TD's.

Pats, Chiefs, Colts, Bucs for Week 1.

Drafted this team last night, not sure how I feel about it.. opinions?

QB: Tony Romo, Ryan Tannehill
RB: Doug Martin, MJD, Daryl Richardson, Fred Jackson
WR: Dez Bryant, Reggie Wayne, Danny Amendola, Josh Gordon (stash), Justin Blackmon (stash), Brian Hartline
TE: Brandon Myers, Tyler Eifert
K: Randy Bullock
D: Buccs

RBs after the first 2 rounds is pretty damn weak.. had 3rd OVR pick, 12 team.

I'd take Martin over Shady. But not Rice or Foster.

Charles deserves consideration.

Dude hasn't coached in an actual NFL game vs real NFL defenses and coordinators.

He's not but a genius.

C'mon son.

Drafted Last Night For My Small Pot League. Ten Teams, Feeling 50/50 On The Roster:

QB: Tony Romo, Jay Cutler
RB: Adrian Peterson, Maurice Jones-Drew, Chris Johnson, Lamar Miller, Daniel Thomas
WR: Hakeem Nicks, Cecil Shorts, Chris Givens, Lance Moore, Kenny Britt
TE: Kyle Rudolph, Daniel Fells
D/St: Dallas
K: Stephen Gostkowski

Nick: Only pick I don't like is Garçon. Who else was available at WR?

Is EJ Manuel worth a roster spot? I'd rather stash another RB or WR.
I actually really like him . Guys who went after him in the same/next round: Greg Jennings, Boldin, DeSean Jackson, Antonio Brown, T.Y., Torrey Smith, Sidney Rice, Decker, Jordy Nelson. Not too big a fan of any of those guys besides T.Y. Hilton. I loved Antonio Brown last year, but him as a #1 in Pitt not so much.

As far as EJ Manuel goes, I grabbed him because he played well in his preseason games and the possibility of that carrying over to the reg season and being a worthy keeper next year.
