OFFICIAL 2013 FANTASY FOOTBALL TALK

Have to see the other teams to make a good determination in an 8 man...any bigger then 8, this is a squad...an 8 man, I'd say ur middle of the pack, which is all that matters in fantasy. Id rather have the two backs of the guy I posted above about in the 10 man league, especially in an 8 man league

I hear ya.

Sit still then since your only starting 2 Wrs and your flex will be bush or sprolea, you are more then fine with ppr.

I'd drop houser for an upside wr or lottery ticket wr.

If to you have to make a trade, I'd make a run at gronk with a QB and te...other then that, there are tons of Wrs you'd want so hard to give you targets...I think you can get r Cobb for much cheaper them his final rank right now...

That's no hate at all, you will be competitive each week and gettin to the payoffs is all that matters and then it's a toss up and any team can beat anyone....

For an 8 man for next year think of it like this and why I said you have a squad in bigger leagues....in an 8 man, that's 16 starting Rbs for sure...there's going to be parody amongst teams, so you want a guy that is solid with a bunch of upside (like I like home run hitter cj2k over Mjd in smaller leagues bc he can give you a Doug Martin game of last year) and same as I mentioned w the other dude...shady McCoy, huge ceiling compared to say trich (who is a keeper of mine in my big $ league)...and to me you have that player at QB no questions....but in 8 man, I like taking the big upside and big ceiling guys to try to account for parody amongst the teams, but just my strategy in those leagues sir

I'm willing to bet money that barring injury Kenbrell Thompkins finishes as a top 25 WR.

Thinking about starting him over Miles Austin at WR3 week 1, what do you think? Brady usually works the Bills right?

I have to make that same decision in the NT league. I'm leaning Miles because he always produces when he's healthy and he will be healthy week one.

It's just the Bills are starting bums in the secondary so I'm tempted to go with Thompkins

For both of you, to me, it would depend on the rest of your team. Post your starters..it comes down to can you afford a possible donut from thompkins until we see his true role if he doesn't give the upside everyone thinks...Miles is typically solid against the giants and those are big scoring games, but he is most likely only gonna give you 4-5, with a ceiling of maybe 11-12..I like thompkins ceiling if you don't need those 4 points miles will be good for as his low

soo  i have the #1 pick in my draft (standard scoring) starting at 7pm...

is the only real move i can make takin AP..? seems like having #1 is a gift and a curse

Yeah I'm in a situation where it's my WR2 so I need something

Think you have to go Milesthen, has you said since you need something. I mean its ultimately your call, but to me, Bellicheck could use Thompkins completely differently then he has in the preseason and come out and run Ridley and vereen wild...buffalo could game plan thompkins and have Wilson help over the top, it's easier to double the rookie wr them the rookie te that is 6'5...don't forget they do have Aaron Dobson who is serviceable...

It's a coin flip. Miles will give you something, trying to make you see both sides.

I need to choose between thompkins upside and Nelson against the niners, so same thing...i am pairing with Calvin and using an RB for both my flexes, so I'm expecting least points from this (Rbs rice, Richardson, Richardson, Wilson)

I have Gronk as my only TE but I have first waiver priority. Pick up Fred Davis (WAS) Thanks. with my waiver or take my chances and possibly pick up Martellus Bennett (CHI) or Jermaine Gresham (CIN) as free agents? Thanks.

I'm still not sure how that is a curse. You have the Calvin Johnson of running backs, who has a legit shot of being a rushing king and is the only thing resembling a scoring option for the Vikings in the red zone.

I mean, there are people nervous about Martin and foster bc of their injury. Youre getting the monster and will be able to go to a different position earlier then others bc you can take a few more chances because your rock is the best RB in the game with the most upside.

He could legimately run for 2500 yards. It's crazy, but with him, no one would be surprised or shocked at all, that is his talent.

You could take someone else tho

Davis and don't look back

I have Julio Jones and Torrey Smith 1 & 2. I think Miles will be solid like homie said, when he's healthy he's pretty good. And Dez is also beasting so maybe he takes some of the attention. Just know Brady has had some pretty amazing games on the AFC East

Adrian Peterson.

Only reason to not pick him #1 is if you are in a 2 QB league or a league that counts completions, and has crazy QB stats.

Otherwise AP. End of story.

Whoever doesn't choose AP with the first pick in a ppr league either is new to it or likes to lose money.

You'll be more then fine, I don't know who you had to kill to have Martin, McCoy and Thomas drop to you. I'd imagine there are 2-3 teams in that league that stand out compared to th others

Drafted Doug in with the 7th pick, McCoy 14th and Thomas 27th..

^ I seen Dougie drafted second all to way to 10th in my leagues. That makes me a little nervous lol because in my biggest money FF PPR league, I drafted him, with my 2nd pick.

I feel like after AP other backs such as Shady, Rice, Lynch, Doug, Foster, etc could go in any order ..Hopefully Doug has the better season out of all of the others lol

My friends want to put money up for our ESPN league. Problem is that we all go to different colleges. Is there a way we can set up a payment system online?
