Dez stayed healthy for most of the season and even played thru his injuries. You finally have a healthy Miles Austin, a proven Jason Witten, a run game that will be relied on heavy, and an upcoming WR in T.Williams. I didn't even mention Beasley or Hanna. What I'm saying is the Cowboys have alot of options, you can't double team Dez. Leave him one on one with any corner outside of Pat Peterson and he's going to have a field day.

The Lions have Reggie Bush but that still won't stop teams from triple teaming Megatron until another WR steps up, maybe Broyles will.

IMO it's a win-win either way but if I have to give one a slight edge it would be Dez.

It's just such a toss up to me. I feel like Tavon will have a huge game in his first game especially against the Cardinals new secondary where Peterson will be matched up with Givens. He destroyed Honey Badger in college too.

I think Sudfeld should be good for a TD atleast vs the Bills but a lot of people are real confident in the Panthers this weekend and from what I saw in their preseason games it looked like Olsen is Cam's favorite target.

Take Calvin, and laugh all the way to the playoffs.

My reasoning isn't even about any other player on the Lions. IT's simple mathematics. Stafford throws about 750 passes. Of those 750, 200 are in Calvin's range. Of those 200, he catches 100. Calvin has also proven that he is Defense-Proof. Single, double, triple, quadruple teams can't stop him. 

On the other hand, Dez has really only had 7-8 monster games in his whole NFL career. Yes, he finished last year better than anyone, but that was the only time in his career that he played consistently at that level. Will he play like that this year? Probably. But i'll take being a monster for your whole NFL career even with bad QB's throwing to you than having a stretch of good games one time in your life.
 
Thinking about trading Amendola coupled with either Bryce Brown or Christian Micheal in a 12 team, standard scoring and non ppr league. I also own (RBs) TRich, Reggie Bush, DRich, Montee and (WRs) Julio Jones, Mike Williams, Emanuel Sanders. I could use more depth at WR.

I'm obviously going to target the Shady & Lynch owners:

The Lynch owner is loaded at WR with Victor Cruz, Vincent Jackson, James Jones, Lance Moore & Malcom Floyd. What if I offer Amendola/Christian Michael for James Jones/Lance Moore type of deal? After Lynch at RB he only has Ridley and Michael Bush.

The Shady owner is a tough one. He has (RBs) Foster, Lamar Miller, Lawfirm, Knowshon and (WRs) Roddy, Mike Wallace, Colston, Britt and Michael Floyd. Maybe give Amendola/Bryce and get Mike Wallace/Not sure??

Rudolph is actually a FA in my league. Someone actually has Heath Miller on their bench instead of picking him up... :smh:

Who is your TE? I'd stash Rudolph if you can afford to. We both know that he was Ponder's #1 guy and that either means he improves on his number this year or falls short of the hype...I'd take a flier for a few weeks to see.

IMO, Christine Michael isn't worth much unless your trading him to a Lynch owner. Amendola (unless he is healthy) isn't in the same league as Vincent Jackson. You are clearly winning in this trade but if I ever got the trade offer I would shoot it down ASAP and give you a :stoneface:

I posted this before, and no one seems to read it. If we followed it, it could help this alot better.

ATTENTION EVERYBODY USING THIS THREAD

People, let's make this as easy as possible for all of us who need help, and give help.

It's simple.
  • If you ask for help on a Start/Sit, PLEASE state whether its a PPR or not. ALSO, please write down who your player is facing and whether it's home or away. Putting "Reggie Wayne" alone doesn't help us giving advice. It depends on the matchup and where the game is being played (dome, cold, etc). We don't make decisions just on names. 
  • If you ask for Trade Help, PLEASE state what players you're getting, and the team you have. Just stating "Adrian Peterson for Jesus" doesn't help out. Depends on what other RB's you have. 
  • Also, for us that will be giving help, Let's try to explain to them WHY we think that player or trade will be good for said week. Just simply putting the name of the player isn't much help to the person receiving it. If we could give just a simple sentence, it would be much more help.
Sorry that this is a long read, but It's just something that's been bothering me.

I hear you, but for me its go big or go home. He gets another potentially awesome WR in Amendola and the handcuff to Lynch. Not a bad deal.

amendola + christine for Vjax and malcolm
 
Amendola's biggest worth is in the PPR format. There are slight nagging health concerns. He's a top-15 standard WR at best.

V-Jax is more top-7 or top-8 at the position depending on Freeman's improvement and growth. Trading Michael, a sleeper, filler RB is worth the seven spot upgrade at receiver.
