OFFICIAL 2013 FANTASY FOOTBALL TALK

Pick 2 to start.
Eric Decker vs NYG
Daryl Richardson vs ATL
Frank Gore vs SEA
Steve Smtih vs BUF

Non ppr
EDIT: Pick 3 not 2
Richardson, Smith, & maybe Gore. 30% chance of showers Sun, so they'll probably run the ball more. Decker has to compete with Welker, D. & J. Thomas for the ball. It doesn't help that Decker shot himself in the foot last week (figuratively) either.
FLEX - Ryan Matthews vs Philly or TY Hilton vs Mia ??

TY. Miami has nickelback issues and will probably use a safety to cover the slot. IND will utilize TY better and take advantage of matchups. Plus, Wayne will garner more attention.

Damn man, Idk if i should start SF D/ST @ Seattle.

Raiders D is there, but I really don't know if I could trust them

Man Ridley better get it going because he's killing my fantasy team. You think if I offered Ridley for Bush is a fair trade?

would you stick with steelers d or should I go with a team like carolina or cleveland?

I've seen them ranked pretty high recently was wondering what other people's thoughts were

No way the Bush owner is taking that. I wouldn't trade Ridley right now. His value will never be lower. He was on the field for a wide majority of the snaps last night, and the Jets D (at least their front 7) is legit. Look at what they did to Doug Martin.

I'd hold onto him, unless someone will give you at least 80% of his draft day value. Maybe try to swap with SJax if you have completely lost faith in him.

I'd go Carolina. Steelers D is gonna suffer like KC's did last year with that horrid offense. They'll always start with their backs against the wall field-position-wise.

Steve Smith (banged up BUF secondary)

Gore (I hate to admit it, but he plays well against the hawks)

D Rich (he'll get a lot of touches)

Should I go with

MJD @ Oakland

Alfred Morris @ GB

T. Richardson @ Baltimore

Appreciate the advise!

JoRizzle: Hilton's preseason ADP was higher than both. He had a quiet, slow Week 1. My only concern is the loss of Ballard in pass protection.

Sanders' biggest value is in PPR formats.

I'd rank it Hilton, Floyd, Sanders. But I'd much rather drop a backup TE than one of your receivers.

CMamba: I'm assuming you mean to pick two out of the three to start at RB.

I'd rank it MJD, Trent, Morris for W2 standard.

MJD should get a heavier dose of carries, more than the 15 from W1. It's a good matchup because both teams are poor. Jacksonville would be wise to establish the run and alleviate pressure of their beleaguered QB.

Trent draws a semi-tough defense in Baltimore. But Chud and Norv are committed to getting him the football, especially with Weeden struggling. Yardage may be low, well under a 100 but a goal line TD is likely.

Morris doesn't draw a particular stout defense in GB. But Rodgers could turn the game into a shoot out. RG3 and Morris have proven to be rusty with a limited preseason.

Denni: Michael Floyd. Fitz is questionable with a bad hammy. Palmer will get Floyd the football. Breakout season coming for the Notre Dame man.

Ballpark numbers. 6/62/1.

Platinum: I rank the defenses for W2 Carolina, Pittsburgh, Cleveland.

I would not start Browns at Baltimore.

Panthers' D is legit, especially the front seven. Should feast on a rookie QB. Spiller must be contained. Kuechly will help ensure that.

Pittsburgh's defense is solid but I don't trust Ben to keep the offense on the field without any semblance of a running attack. Not to mention little to no chemistry with Haley.

Joshuatree: There's no doubt Kaep is the better fantasy Q. But I would start Eli this week. Seattle and San Fran could be low scoring if both defenses hold. Seahawks' corners can deal with Q. Big and physical off the line.

G-Men have no running attack for now. Peyton could turn the game into a shoot out like the Baltimore opener. Eli will be forced to chase a lead. Two to three TD's not out of the realm of possibility.

ATransta: Hold onto Ridley unless the Bush owner is feeling generous about your offer.

His value is at its lowest point. I'm in the same boat as you. Ridley is my RB2 and second round pick. On the plus side, it's still early in the season and Ridley did show increased ball awareness and protection while slowly digging himself out of Bill's doghouse.

Jordan: I would still start SF DEF. One of the few stud NFL defenses remaining in the league. No Percy. Beast Mode struggled in the opener. The honus is all on Russy to produce.

Oakland's defense isn't any good, but I get the matchup is enticing.

CS23: Hilton, definitely in a standard format. Ryan Mathews breaks my heart every year.

My one concern about Indy's O is Ballard out for pass pro.

Wayne draws Grimes, their best corner. Hilton beats the other matchup every time. Whether it be Patterson or Carroll.

HDB: Smitty, Decker, Gore in that order.

Cam really only has Smitty and Olsen to throw to. He got a tub W1. Veteran experience to beat McKelvin or Gilmore.

Peyton will exploit matchups. J. Thomas was the first beneficiary. Demaryius will get his, but defenses are game planning for him. Welker gets the dink and dunk catches.

Decker will get targets, but he must exploit every opportunity with the increased competition for looks. 6/73/1 if Manning Bowl turns into a shoot out like I expect.

Gore as the lesser of two evils. Hope for a goal line tub if it's low scoring.

MMG: Ridley was my second rounder in a work money league.

Have Lamar Miller in the same league. Plus Roddy hurting.
