OFFICIAL 2013 FANTASY FOOTBALL TALK

Yay or Nay:

RB: Doug, Vereen*, Lacy* Pierce, Montee
WR: AJ, Dez, Edleman, Cecil, Sanders, Royal

Yea. Giving up waiver wire pickups for a serviceable RB2/FLEX option (when healthy). Plus you are thin @ RB but who isn't.

Just pick up another waiver wire WR.

Check out this proposed trade in one of my leagues, neither is my team, just wanted to see what you guys think about it.

Adrian Peterson
Colston
Schaub
Deandre Hopkins

For

Welker
CJ2K
Steve Smith (car)
Russell Wilson

Rodgers with a bye week this week SMH, i have no idea who to pick up to use this week

Cutler? Flaco? Roethlisburger? Rivers? Tannehill?

Ok he's the deal on the table.

I get: Roddy White and Lance Moore

I give up: Jason Witten

I just claimed Jordan Cameron off waivers. Should I do it?

:nerd:

Do it and don't even think twice about it. Cameron is hott and Romo will spread the ball around to other TEs like Escobar and Hanna since teams are starting to double Witten.

Rivers or Tannehill, slight edge to Rivers because that game might turn into a shootout. I can also see Miami putting up points on the Saints as well.

I sold high on Edelman and traded for Gio Bernard prior to this past weekends games.

:pimp:

He fits nicely into the spot that Stevan Ridley got displaced from.....

I'm pulling this risk of picking up Josh gordon... rumor has it that lions might get him... his value will sky rocket if that happens

RISK?

Lions or not, if Gordon is still available on your waiver wire, consider hitting the lotto if you're able to still pick him up.

He balled out last week, and that was coming off a 2 game suspension and with a 3rd stringer throwing to him.

I don't see where the "risk" is at...

Just traded DJax and Fred Jackson for Alfred Morris, David Wilson, and Roddy White. Hope my risk pays off in the long run
What risk tho??? You just came off like a CROOK

Word, if the trade goes through, my team will be:

QB: Rodgers, Newton

RB: Alfred Morris, David Wilson, MJD, Bilal Powell, Ryan Matthews

WR: Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitz, Hakeem Nicks, Emmanuel Sanders

TE: Gates and Elfert

Killing my 12 team standard league. Having a consistent Tight End really pushes you over the top.

Head coach Mike Tomlin reiterated Tuesday that Bell (foot) will play in Sunday's game against the Vikings, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Analysis: Tomlin would not commit to Bell starting Sunday, but it appears he'll make his NFL debut after missing the first three games of the campaign. Bell's work in Sunday's game will be determined by how much work he can do in practice this week, but given that the Steelers have averaged just 51.7 yards per game on the ground, expect him to get as many carries as he can handle as soon as the team deems him ready.

Early in the final frame, Hillman broke off a 19-yard run to the 1-yard line. The Broncos proceeded to take a timeout. During that break in the action, Hillman says he took on Knowshon Moreno and Montee Ball in rock, paper, scissors to see who would get the touchdown. Hillman chose rock, while Ball and Moreno went with scissors. "We were just messing around on the sideline," Hillman said. "Just something to do. Have fun. ... Luckily I won, so it all worked out."

As the officials deliberated if Hillman had crossed the goal line after a 13-yard gain, Hillman, Moreno and Ball decided to play rock-paper-scissors for which running back would get the goal line carry if the score was overturned. Hillman said Moreno threw down a rock one beat too early and was disqualified, and Hillman's scissors trumped Ball's paper.
Going forward all Broncos carries will be decided by rock-paper-scissors.  Drop Moreno everybody.
