OFFICIAL 2013 FANTASY FOOTBALL TALK

I NEED YOUR HONEST OPINION! Please help me make the right decision

This is my current team (1 PPR league)
View media item 590604

I am currently being offered
Calvin Johnson / Darren Sproles
And I give up
Jamaal Charles / Greg Jennings

Seems pretty obvious which side of the trade is winning
But I don't know if this trade is really beneficial on my behalf.
With Shady McCoy and Jamaal Charles, my RB department is locked in as one of the best
I also have Randall Cobb and Antonio Brown locking down my WR department.
My flex consists of Eddie lacy, mike Wallace, and Julian Edelman.
If I do this trade, I downgrade my RB2 from JCharles to Sproles (I also have jimmy graham) and Calvin takes Antonio browns spot in my WR spot. Which clouds my flex spot by adding Antonio brown in the mix

Should I do this trade? Or does it complicate things? I'm on the fence about this

I'd love to hear your opinions

I would much rather have a top RB over a top WR. Look @ the available waiver wire pickups in competitive leagues. You can usually find serviceable wide receivers throughout the season but can't say the same for RB's.

Unless you are in a PPR league, Sproles is worthless IMO and Jennings can't get much worse. I would stand pat for now and wait for a better deal.

Really, this is the most insightful reply I've ever had. I couldn't agree more. But the main reason I accepted the trade is because it leaves me with so many trading chips towards the end of the season to upgrade sproles (whom will start for me now). And there's a possibility I could get jcharles back without losing megatron.
I'm currently 3-0 and this is a 10-man league with 6 getting into the playoffs. So I could afford to lose a few games without jcharles in hopes to getting him back near week 12

I would, Doug Martin not producing like he did a season ago..

I dont know man, Doug just had 144 yards rushing week 2 and 88 more last week. He's already getting 20+ carries per game on average and with them starting a new QB this week you gotta believe theyll be relying on Doug even moreso. Probably will get a couple grabs on checkdown passes alone.

I have Doug Martin on my squad as well and there arent many guys I trade him for, but thats just me its upto you obviously

If it were me I'd let Leveon get a week under his belt, I doubt he gets a full workload his first week back. I have him too and I think Tomlin said he wasnt sure if he was going to start the game or not

And Reggie "looked good and agile" at practice today so Bell might see less action

Need FLEX help!

Joique Bell, Stevie Johnson or Le'Veon Bell?

Stevie for me

J. Bell - idk how much of the snaps Bush will get this week
L. Bell - O-line looks shaky, coming fresh from injury, and too many pieces coming back with the inclusion of Miller

Ryan Broyles or Golden Tate? Both are on waivers.

I'm thinking Broyles.

I was able to scoop Le'Veon, although I'm not quite sure how big his value is behind that horrid o-line for Pitts..

I'm hoping Le'Veon has a good showing this Sunday but we'll see. Thanks man.

Too many hands in the Steelers backfield for me to trust Bell, even as a FLEX.

Same goes for Denver's backfield, they trolled us with Moreno Week 2 :smh:

I agree that there are a lot of hands in the Steelers backfield. But lets be real, the only person they want touching the ball has been Bell from day 1. Im starting Bell as one of my Flexs in the 2 leagues I was able to scoop him off waivers because of someone who was impatient.

He was ready to go last week but the Steelers held him out to be cautious since they were gonna lose that game regardless and they know Bell is the future. No need to rush him back. They gave him the extra rest like the Lions did with Reggie.

In the situation above id still start Stevie over him like was said. But if you have Le'Veon and lesser options dont be afraid to start him this week.
