That is a monster trade. To break it down:
Dez>AJ, because of Dalton and the Bengal's offensive struggles
Rivers>Cam, because Rivers is playing lights-out and the Carolina offense is sucking
Gio=Chris Johnson... Tough call here. Gio has been better, but BGE outplayed him last game. I'm not really sure who will be stronger down the stretch.
Is the Bengals offense going to turn it around? If so, Dez might not end up being a huge upgrade and going from Rivers to Cam will hurt you.
Is Cam going to turn it around, as he has done before? That could make the WR upgrade worthwhile.
I would probably take it. Cowboys are going to be in shootouts as always, and the Bengals don't need many points to win. Cam will play better down the stretch. I also think Gio continues to outplay CJ2k.

Exact same way I broke it down. I already have Blackmon and and Matt Forte so I still would have elite players. I recently traded for AJ but since week 1, he hasn't been able to really have a good game. I blame Dalton for that.
I like Gio because he's so versatile and I looked at CJ2k future recent games and they are against tough defenses. If it weren't for that broken play by Fitzpatrick, he wouldn't have even scored yesterday.
Cam has been a letdown but basically I'll be trading potential for a guy like rivers who will always put up 15-25 points.
Think I'll do it though. I like the combo of Dez, Blackmon, Forte and Gio. Including having Terrence Williams, David Wilson (who was off to a soaring start until he got injured) and Danny wood head as 2nd tier guys

After Seattle and San Fran the next two weeks, Titans have a bye then play STL, JAX, INDY, OAK, INDY, DEN, ARI, JAX .... I wouldn't call those tough run defenses.

He's averaging about 8-9 points so far, 5 weeks in...Has 25 carries the past two weeks. Jackie Battle gets goalline carries also. So although after he plays Seattle and SF, I just don't trust him to even get 15-20 points against those teams after the bye. But good point, any other RB against those teams and I'm licking my chops

its not just the picks, Cam got sacked 6/7 times, where the **** is the mobilty mr " tear my shirt open, cause im superman" I drafted this guy in the 6th thinking i had such a good steal cause he was bound to get me 30-40 rushing yards and maybe a goal line td here and there. but none of that has come to fruitionI wish I had those 8.3 pts from Cam, I would've won my game .. he got me a grand total of 5 POINTS! And then my partner comes out and says "he needs a new a coach"... ARE YOU KIDDING? The coach didn't throw those picks!
At this point, Cam is just a more athletic version of Josh Freeman

I agree with you though, I have him in two leagues so I'm praying for a turn around down the stretch when I'm going to need him the most.

I think we picked him in the 6-7th rd as well. My boy has a man crush on Cam, it's sickening .. I wanted Romo but his argument was "you're a Cowboys fan"

hopefully they let him do him, he's bigger than kaep and more athletic than wilson, he should be able to do a lot more than what he is. he is built bigger than RG3 too, he'll be able to take a hit ( that isnt low)

He beasted the game before the bye week. So I figured yesterdays game he would be back to SuperCam...we know how that went. Ill be starting him for the rest of the season. He's due a few great games.

Knowshon, Rice, Gordon, Witten, Rams DEF , & Tucker all went off. Down 9 with Matty Ice up against the Jets, he has no one left. My team has finally lived up to its potential and my RB core is strongest in the league. Need to scoop up Alshon or Hopkins because I'm weak at WR with the Pats struggling.

i mean im not gonna drop him, and i dont think ill get reasonable return if i trade him. could i get kaep or wilson...even brady straight up for him? probably not.
I got bradford on the bench and the time i did start him ( Cams bye week) dude did nothing, albeit it was against the 49ers.

same here, everyone is arguing and getting mad cussing each other out because everyone is trying to trade but no one will bite.
I put Peyton and Gronk up for trade and ive received trash and not a single person wants manning.

My league is similar. Dudes love hoarding players even when their team is struggling. Trying now to get Cutler from a dude who has Luck and they both are on bye at the same time. Hopefully he bites cause Kaep isn't getting it done for me...
