Why would you trade for two guys that are either currently injured or have proven to be injury prone?

Unless you have the depth to handle waiting for Cobb to return I wouldn't see how this trade makes much sense for you.

There's really no one better available?

Jacobs' value has probably already peaked.  I've been planning on taking a flier on Andre Brown within the next couple of weeks because Jacobs is not an NFL back anymore (was he ever?) and his body will start to break down sooner rather than later.

im not a guy to believe in jacobs. cant go by last game.  andre brown will get his share of carries in a couple weeks so jacobs will be old news.  if you have a deep enuf roster then i would take a shot with harvin , manningham , burleson or kevin cone.  cone has a chance to help out with julio gone but the others have high upside if you dont need the help now and can wait.

Man 14 team leagues are difficult so yah I am desperate with either of those bums. I am thinking Jacobs cause the Giant's next two games are at home vs Vikings and at Eagles!

My other RBs are Trent 'worthless' Richardson, Steven 'I am too old to be a RB' Jackson, and Leveon 'my team sucks' Bell plus L Blount whom I am going to drop for Jacobs.

Full PPR... I don't know whether to trust Woodhead week-to-week or ride out Sproles ups and downs...

Should I hope for another huge Woodhead night tonight and sell high? Should I ride with Jones now that Cobb is out two months?

Should probably also be noted someone dropped Ridley so I'm going to snag him while dropping Schaub.. Saving some auction dollars to snag Vereen when he's ready, too.

Might also help... He has Green, Dez, Blackmon, TSmith, Edelman, Amendola... But his RBs suck outside of Moreno.

14 teamers are 75% what i play.  yes , it is a challenge and your team will have holes but i love them.  now.......i think your in a panic.  trent is good for 80yds and a td tonight.  dont give up on him yet. is he going to be a top 10rb....no  but he will be fine in 14 team leagues.  bell went against a jet def that is REAL good vs the run. when sjax comes back they will ride him as long and hard as he could take. in ppr leagues he will be fine as long as his body holds up. instead of dropping blount for jacobs se if ivory is out there.  powell is banged up and jets need to run the ball.  ridley seems to be locked in now so blount can be let go.  ellington is prob gone but is another one to look for.  ogbonnaya had more play than willis last week. he is another one i would pick up over jacobs.  gotta take shots with these guys.

looking at your roster your qb is going to hurt you.  trade AP for a top 3 qb and then off ryan for a rb.  cobb might be out 6 weeks so james jones mite be nice.   
 
You think Ryan is going to fall of to the point he's not a Top 5-7 guy?

Top three guys being Payton, Brees, Rodgers? Maybe Romo?

What if I offered Ryan and AP to the same guy for Brees and a top shelf receiver? Running with Woodhead/Sproles every week feels like a bad idea.

im worried bout ryan.  if roddy is out for a while it could get ugly.  if it does then you wont get shiitt for ryan. let someone else take the risk.  brees and edleman for ryan and ap.  then take a wr and get another rb and BAM..BING. your team looks better.

I like McFadden more than Miller. Before Cobb went down, I was willing take on an injury probe back to help improve my WR core. I have Charles, Bush and Bernard. As of now, my starting WRs are Blackmon, Keenan Allen, and Johnson when he's healthy, with Marlon Brown my best bench WR.

So it's pretty much Miller/Johnson for McFadden with a chance Cobb comes back as a possible starter for me in the playoffs. And if the trade ends up not getting vetoed, there's a slim chance I could flip him for a decent WR.

The only reason I can let myself be okay with this trade is the idea that Miller will still have to deal with Daniel Thomas in the backfield and McFadden is for sure getting most of the reps.
 
**** of course TY Hilton gets injured with seconds left in the half.

He was my only hope.

Please let him come back in the 2nd half... ugh. |I
