OFFICIAL 2013 FANTASY FOOTBALL TALK

damn bruh thats a legit core

ehhh with that being said...i would take a chance just because.
I'd have to agree with Steebie J. Taking a flier on Amendola for Mathews is worth the risk considering Mathews is just one injury away himself...

 at your RB stable. Mad jealous. haha

I'm playing against a dude that has Bush, Peterson and Moreno smh. AND Desean Jackson.

Hoping Djax and Moreno have bad games

sitting at 3-3 though. Cam is my qb, so thats up and down. drafted myers bum ***, dropped him and added heath miller and charles clay.

the  times ive lost, my opponent has outperformed their projected points. sill feel good about my chances this year though

Am I moving too fast in trading for Gronk?

Was offered Gronk & Bowe for Witten & Decker...thoughts?

I'm sitting at 1-5 in my main money league and I'm at all point where I need TD's, which Gronk is pretty much a given.

I've been resistant in trading Decker but I still have pretty good depth

Victor Cruz
Torrey Smith
Keenan Allen
Kembrell Thompkins
Thompkins is boom or bust, but I like your depth at WR.

I'd personally take the approach of seeing if Gronk is actually healthy enough to play through an entire game. Since Witten & Decker are actually both productive, it's a big risk if Gronk has any setbacks. Bowe is a complete disappointment :xI and doesn't give you much at all.

I feel your pain. I have Cam, and I'm 3-3 as well. I totally whiffed last week by starting Rivers over Cam last week and ended up losing by 3. :rolleyes

Similar dilemma this week at QB. Should I start Cam (vs Rams) or Rivers (vs Jax)?

Who should I drop from my bench? Dropped my original defense for Allen, and was gonna do a 2 for 1 trade but it didn't go through in time. ( had a Thursday night player). So I need to pick up a defense. Who do I drop? PPR league

Alshon
Sproles
Wallace
Roddy
LeVeon Bell
Keenan Allen

I need Brady to be Brady this weekend. And I need Peyton to pass to Demaryius all day...I have him and I'm going against a dude with Peyton, Welker and Moreno.

id go Cam, rams secondary gets beat all the time. finnegan has gotten torched, so as a steve smith owner too i hope he can break off.

the jags are just bad, Rivers would very well have a field day especially with him really vibing with kenan allen, but i could see them try to get matthews a lot of touches to up his confidence too.

both will put up #'s, but id go Cam.

im loving the targets welker gets in the endzone. hes scored in every game !

brady should do his thing especially if gronk hits the ground running.

think its safe to pen peyton in for at least 275 and 2-3 tds.

I have Rivers currently starting, but I've been leaning more toward switching to Cam. I agree with you that Rivers is bound to have a solid game regardless, but I could see them focusing on the run game especially if they're up by a lot against Jax. Cam's potential to score BIG tomorrow makes it too tough to bench him.

I actually have Woodhead. Was thinking of starting him at RB to cover any points I don't get by sitting Rivers, but that means sitting a disappointing T-Rich. :rolleyes

Pick 2: Doug Martin (vs. ATL), Trent Richardson (vs. DEN), Danny Woodhead (vs. JAX), Brandon Jacobs (vs. MIN) Martin is an obvious start, right?

standard league : martin and jacobs ( im sure he'll stumble his way into the endzone)

ppr: martin and woodhead.

indy could be down the whole game, thus forcing them to throw. i was surprised as to how little work trent got vs SD. lack of playbook knowledge? who knows but now hes had more time to learn it, problem is Denver is getting miller and a few more defensive players back this week.

^ That's exactly what I was thinking re: Richardson. Thought he'd do A LOT better against SD. Even Woodhead out-performed him. Against DEN, it's likely the Colts play from behind all game and focus on the pass.

I'm in a standard league, so I think I'll go with Martin & Jacobs then. Thanks, LHS! Hope all my changes pay off. Gonna be 4-3, baby! lol

Demaryius Thomas @ IND
Vincent Jackson @ ATL
Antonio Brown vs BAL
Justin Blackmon vs SD

Should I start Blackmon over any of the other three? PPR Scoring

sidebar guys: If you read Matthew Berry's Love/Hate every week, his intro talks about how his stepson got ripped off by some guy (and PAYPAL) who he sold some sneakers to. Paypal really grinds my gears! They said they emailed the kid and he had 14 days to respond, but of course the email goes into his Spam folder and they didn't see it until day 15. >:

Starting Ellington last night is gonna have me pissed off for a while if a few other guys on my team don't go off and save me Sunday.

A dude offered me either V-Jax or Blackmon plus Woodhead for my Demaryius. Standard league no PPR. I've thought about it a lil bit.

Still debating Calvin, Ridley and Jordan Cameron for my McCoy, James Jones and Bryce Brown. I've just been sketched out about Calvin's health.

Looks like PayPal came through. Must be nice to have ESPN on your side. lol

I could see that SD / Jax game being competitive till the 4th.

Henne is a far more competent QB that Gabbert and Blackmon should have a solid game against a so so SD defense.

I could see it being a game in the 20's for both teams.

I have Rivers / MJD / Blackmon / Allen on my main team so I'm trying to see what's good  :smh:
I had given that same logic some thought earlier today, but I think (hope) SD's going to have a solid day against an awful Jax D. I'm calling what they did against Denver last week a fluke.

Of the four you listed, I think Blackmon is a no-brainer since he'll get his regardless. Allen's probably a good play too since he'll likely score a TD (maybe 2) in the first half alone.

Dang. That's a tough decision. I'm really high on Blackmon right now (bitter I didn't pick him up in one of my leagues 2 weeks ago), but you gotta consider if keeping Demaryius for the long haul will help you in a matchup against an opposing team with Peyton. Unless of course... you own Peyton or the team that has him isn't gonna sniff the playoffs.

Calvin's health definitely gives me pause. He's got no help on the other side at WR, but he'll still produce IF he plays.

^ Co-signed. Blackmon's gonna beast regardless of whether it's Gabbert or Henne throwing to him. I'm curious to see if he keeps up the numbers even after D's lock in on him and Cecil potentially hindered by his shoulder.
