Housler has the starting job right now, Eifert is splitting time with Gresham but has the higher upside.

He's an absolute monster in PPR leagues. Not too shabby in standard leagues either. He's one of those guys that if you've never had him, you can't really appreciate how good he is. Last season he missed 3 games with a hand injury and still finished as the 13th ranked PPR RB. He'll be either #1 or 2 in targets on the Saints every week. Brees constantly checks down to him and throws to him often inside the 10 yard line. I read a Megatron-esque stat of him a week ago; he was tackled at the goal line 4 times last season. With Sean Payton back I see him running the ball alot more, like he did in 2011. Depending on who else is available, I'm taking him in the 3rd-4th rounds no doubt.
dont forget about the return yardage...

christine michael i have targeted in late rounds and stepfan taylor both could be late round gold. stacy is buried in depth chart. robinson i have no interest in. reese was ok last year but he is now buried in depth chart and not consistant. bell and redman , no thanks.

Need some advice guys. I'm in a keeper league (2 player max- no 1st or 2nd rounders)but we don't have to keep any players unless we want to but if I do decide to keep a player I lose 2 draft picks. I drafted Dez in the 6th last year and if I keep him I have don't pick in the 4th or 5th round. Which would leave me with a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and then on to the 6th rd

Thats the only player I'm thinking of keeping. I also drafted B. Marshall in the 4th but I don't think I want to lose a 2nd and 3rd for him.

Should I keep Dez or just try and draft him in the 3rd round if he's still there? I have the 8th of 12 picks in this years draft. My strategy is to get WR and RB in the 1st 4-5 rounds and then get a QB later on...

I'd keep Dez for a 6th for sure. That's great value since Dez is going in the 2nd round in all drafts.

But I'd be losing a 4th and 5th

Just want to make sure thats not too much :nerd:

Edit- nvm just found out I lose 2 spots from where I drafted and not 2 picks. So now I'm keeping D.Martin and Dez. Lose my 1st and 4th rd picks to keep them but will still have my 2nd and 3rd picks :pimp:

Goodlooks, I appreciate it!

Totally forgot about that. In my leagues you don't get points for return yards or TDs but if your league does, that's just another reason to scoop up Sproles.
yeah man he is as valuable as a qb in my league.we get points for return yardage ( sproles, wilson, and WR who return punts/kicks)

special teams production ( return yards, fumbles...) also count in our league. we also have 1 idp spot. CB's like patrick patterson can contribute with his return yardage too

Any of you guys get frustrated with other owners for being completely stupid?

I just witnessed a keeper league owner that did not protect Trent Richardson.

He did protect Michael Crabtree however.

Same league, I offered the guy the #6 pick, Dez Bryant and Reggie Bush for the #2 pick. He said no.

So he could protect Ben Jarvus Green Ellis, and Greg Jennings. Along with Ryan Mathews and Reggie Wayne.

Dez and Reggie would have been the two best players on his team, and he only drops down 3 extra slots. :smh:

Am I just an ******* or you guys get frustrated with some of these dudes too?

Don't even get me started on the year I watched Tony Romo get drafted #1 overall, Peyton Manning get drafted #3 only to sit out the whole season with a neck injury, and that same guy drafting yet another QB in Round 3. :smh:

Anyone commissioner of their work fantasy league? The guy who usually does it for our department only has been out all week. I'm tempted to just send a company wide email and see what happens. Is it hard to deal with coworkers when it comes to this? Should I make it a money league?

Is this a money league? And are you playing with mentally challenged people? Either way you should be winning that league every year  . I agree though **** is mad frustrating when you play with guys like that. A couple of my boys are airheads in the league that I run so we usually just all bash them in our group text .

 Naw, not a money league, if it was, I'd be betting the farm every year.

And I get the playoffs every year, but I lose to the cheating commissioner every season.

I've asked for his lineup before, and he usually sends it to me, about 11:30 Sunday night, after all the games are over. :nerd:

You'd be surprised how many times he had the foresight to sit Brandon Marshall in favor of Santonio Holmes when Marshall goes for 60 yards, and Holmes 120 and 2 TD's. :nerd:

Or the year he told me in baseball that he sat Edgar Martinez so he could play Jose freaking Offerman. Edgar went 0-4, Offerman had 2 solo homers.

Yep, he sure is lucky. I thought it was a nice touch one year when I couldn't make the draft and I sent him a list, knowing I was drafting in front of him, so he couldn't snake my guys. I had Dez in round 1, and Witten in round 2 as preferences. Somehow, he had both of them on his team, and I got 2 other players.  :smh:

Got to love cheating commissioners, and thankfully, we do not play for money in that league.

My main $ league is with coworkers and we've been playing for 4 years. In my league we have a Commissioner and a Co-commissioner. We haven't had any problems with the league and its still going strong. We typically have 12 or 14 teams depending who wants to play. Its only a $75 to join in. Its fun when money is involved.

:wow: That dude's just asking for a right hook  .

my updated roster after putting in work on the waiver wire..

QB - Russell Wilson
RB - Arian Foster
RB - Stevan Ridley
WR - Danny Amendola
WR - Golden Tate
TE - Coby Fleener
Flex - Tavon Austin

Bench
QB - Josh Freeman
RB - Christine Michael
WR - Brandon Gibson
WR - Cordarrelle Patterson
WR - Mike Williams
TE - Rob Housler

K - Dan Bailey

Defense - St. Louis Rams

any thoughts? The one thing I see is RB depth. I've scoured the wire, next step is maybe a trade..
Tyler Eifert is still on waivers too.. Was thinking about maybe swapping Gibson for Eifert, potentially as a trade chip later on.. thoughts?

the only way to go. on the 30th  i have a 1k auction at 10am , another 1k auction at 4pm , and a super 2,500 a man league. the next day at 1pm 1,500 league and 4pm another 1,500 league at the hotel Pennsylvania across from msg in nyc. live drafts are great. the 2,500 super might get on sirius xm. they are trying to work it out. pm me if anyone wants to check it out and have a couple beers. love it.

everyone has a DND ( do not draft ) list. here are a few of mine.

1- mcfadden.... history seems to always repeat itself. this guy can not stay healthy. i dont want to hear the ' WHAT IF " with this guy. if he is not out then he drives you nuts waiting for the noon list of players out. and if they are playing sunday or mon night you are screwed. rather draft rashad jennings at end of draft. i wont have him on any of my teams.

2- ryan matthews....see above. not for me

3- tavon austin...no rookie wr for me. it is a rule i go by and more times i am thankful i stayed clear. i'm not saying he wont be good just rookies tend to be to erratic for me to put in lineup. plus where he is being drafted in 12-14 team leagues is 5th-6th round. too high of a price for me. cecil shorts is being drafted in same area. rather have him or torry smith or stevie johnson.

4-andre johnson...i know some will not agree but he is 32yrs old , on a run first team and hopkins is a young stud. he came on strong last year but only has 5 td's in last 2 years. he had the 5th most targets last year and that will certainly change for the worse.

Add in the Desean Jackson/Mike Wallace type for me. Guys who have a Big week and then dissappear.

Got my live draft in a 14 man league tomorrow night. Any help on some sleepers in the RB, TE, WR positions?
