Dwight is not the best C in the league but a monSTAR for sure. Great game by the Magic tonight.

I knew we were dead after the TO's in OT and when Z fouled out. No one on the team has that consistent jumper beyond him.

Oh, and LeBron was fouled. Goodnight.

Dwight is better than Yao right now, and he has very little offensive skill. If he ever develops any kind of jumper and improves his footwork, it won't bea debate.

^^^^

I think right now, most NBA GM's would take Yao over Dwight.

Everyone is in awe over Howard because despite his amazing stats, he still isn't fully developed.

Hmmm... I knew that post position looked familiar...

If only #33 can teach him that base line fadeaway..

A Ronnie Seikaly sighting!!!
But back to topic:

Yeah, DH12 is gonna be something extra-special to watch in the near future.

Hopefully he can stay virtually injury free.

i doubt that... dwight is the prototypical nba big man in today's game.

check back when he's not shooting freethrows worse than Shawn Marion. Last time I check, Yao owned Howard. He's good at dunking hard and staying inthe paint for rebound.

what he lacks can be taught.
shooting 31 straighth freethrows in the last 6 games can't be taught!!!!

you didnt make a point. dwight is still the prototypical big man in the nba.

yao is a nice blend of size and skill but he's soft and doesnt dominate the game and will never have alot of stamina. Dwight is physically a monster and isdominating right now... what he lacks can be taught...yao can't be taught how to be tough. dwight plays like a MAN. Holla at me when he gets stuffed bysomebody who's 5'8.

Last time I checked, Yao was soft, out of shape causing him to commit stupid fouls and be out of position late in games, often not the leadingrebounder in a game, and gets pushed around by most opposing centers. He's good at shooting jumpers.

D howard..he's good..bron is the true monster.(please be consistent on your FT shooting other than that i have nothing to say ).if he wants to,he can havea triple double every game but i rather want the W than triple-double...and the block!..anyways..goodgame..hughes please go back to your true form..

That's what I'm hoping. Living in central Florida for most of my life, and coming from New York and being a Knicks fan, seeing Patrick Ewing asDwight's big man coach warms my heart. If Pat can teach him to add a jump shot, Dwight is going to be more of a problem than he already is.

Once Dwight develops a solid shot, he is going to be the premiere big man in the league.

An impressive accomplishment, considering that numerous players were averaging 20 rpg in the 60s. Of course, they were older when they entered the league, buthad Dwight played then, he would've averaged at least 25 boards, maybe even 30.
