DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - Chapter ONE: Gods & Monsters

The Martha scene was so stupid. Like one of the stupidest scenes I've ever seen. Like before leaving for Gotham, supes even told Lois he needs to persuade batman to join him to save his mother. The second he got there he should have just said it. Like right away. That way time wouldn't have been wasted
 
I thought it was kinda stupid how Bats told dude to evacuate the building and dude stayed on the phone chilling staring out the window. Then the building collapsed on him. Kinda similar situation to the tornado scene to me.

I watched the beginning of MOS earlier and it reminded me of how great all the stuff on Krypton was. Even that seemed like a story Snyder was more interested in telling.

It was pretty dumb how the whole office was there chilling but literally 3 blocks away people, cars, buildings are being levitated and pulverized.

I also realized that DcEU Barry Allen has Impulse hair lol

Since he's supposedly the comic relief of JL, I hope they give him the Impulse super speed ADD personality

You guys want the entire planet to be happy with him all the time? All I'm saying is it isn't unrealistic to see humanities divide on him, even if he hasn't done anything to them. You guys mention Jessica Jones. A woman tried to kill Jessica Jones because of a situation that involved the Avengers. She had family who were a casualty of their battles, so she wanted to kill Jessica.

Superman can't control the actions of the threats he faces. He can only fight them. What do you want different? It's easy to say, "This isn't what I want, change it." Do you want a Supes film where he rescues kittens and does photo-ops? Where there's never collateral damage and everyone is happy with no real problems?

Why is this always the go to response?

This REALLY isn't an either/or situation with Superman. There's more than the 2 options of save kittens from trees and what we're getting.
 
I think he had the best look for bruce wayne. Basically how he looked in American Psycho. He would've been a good, crazy batman like in this movie. I'm always gonna rock with Keaton though. I loved the movies as a kid.
 
IMO, Bale = Best Bruce Wayne, Keaton = Best Batman.. however Affleck has the opportunity to be the best at both.

I may have jumped the gun proclaiming him the best already, but considering his performance in BvS, it's just a matter of delivering in the solo film.

IMO Bale just had good all around movies but when I saw Batman Affleck him in BvS was better than anything I saw Bale do in his 3 films.
 
MoS is on FX right now.. I forgot how much I dug the first 20 minutes on Krypton. And I just realized;

- Superman's mom (total MILF, BTW) is Kingpin's girl in Daredevil Season One
- Zod kills Jor El by stabbing him in the chest from a blade that comes out of his arm.. basically the same way he killed Superman in BvS
- Even though I have no idea why Jor-El is able to defeat a Kryptonian born to be military general, Russell Crowe is still awesome
- More emotional investment in the start of MoS than any scene in BvS
- I miss Faora :frown:

Speaking of trailers, anyone else go no trailers in their showing? I was surprised when the theater just turned dark and started the film right away.
