DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - Chapter ONE: Gods & Monsters

Thinking about it, because Lex used Martha as ransom, Superman may have decided to fake the death of Clark Kent to spare his mom from future retaliation.

In MoS, he actually took different identities/jobs when he was traveling. He may go back to being the nomad, "Joe."

can someone explain to me that letter lois got that contained a wedding ring?
It was just an envelope containing a ring from what I saw.
but i mean, was he going to propose to her via mail?

I doubt it was a "if I die give this to lois" letter because in the context of the story there's no reason for superman to believe he's going to die anytime soon

I liked Lex because he was viable. True evil. Brilliant. Diabolical. Sadistic. A little crazy.

Bombed a Government building. Built a monster. Kidnapped Martha. Pushed Lois off a high-rise. Killed his own assistant.

Sought knowledge he didn't have. (Learned about Darksied that way)

He was truly dangerous. Moreso than most versions of Lex.

What? **** are you talking about? His mom outright said he had it sent to the farm to ensure that Lois would be surprised, as in he didn't want her finding it in the mail by accident. His mom just gave it to Lois because he wasn't exactly around anymore to get it.

that's why I asked

I legit dont remember because my brain was shut off by then

Bruce should go ahead and get rid of that vandalized Robin costume and replace it with a clean one. Assume that it speaks to his mental state that he kept it like that but geez man, a kid died in that thing. Keep a replica of the costume, but don't have it looking like that.

Meh, 4/8

Not terrible but not good either, pretty much the definition of mediocre.

A couple memorable parts and Batman & WW were cool but don't plan on ever seeing it again. The pacing and editing were awful and amateurish and please stop with the cot damn slow motion. Lex was disappointing overall and the score was questionable at times. There was a good amount of people in my theater laughing at the corny and bad parts.

Not looking forward to JL at all if Snyder is directing but Batman and WW films seem promising. AM I'm still iffy on and I still don't believe a solo Cyborg movie is gonna happen. If they try to make Flash dark, gritty and brooding, SMH

The more me and my wife talk about this movie and what we watched the more I realize this movie truly didn't make any sense.

I look at this movie the way I look at Transformers.

I was obsessed wtih Transformers as a kid. My dad liked them too so it was kinda of our thing. So when the movie was announced I was hyped. I think the movies are *** but at the same time I'm happy they exist because its still cool on a certain level to see them brought to life.

I love Batman and the Dark Knight Returns graphic novel so it was cool to see Batman wash Superman but good God nothing else made sense.

I was really hoping to see a giant penny in the background of the batcave

Don't know if that'd go with Snyder's vision for the characters :nerd: Might be considered too campy.

Wouldn't personally mind though. In fact, has any live action Batman ever had the giant penny? I know Nolan's didn't.

Maybe in future films i'd like to see multiple versions of his past Bat mobiles. If they took the time to make them the ones from all the previous films :smokin

Give me brooding Flash over that lame *** beta he is on the CW.

People are just really happy to finally see their two favorite characters on screen together

They don't realize they deserve better as fans #yeshrug

Maybe once the novelty of Supes and Bats together wears off and after the DCU improves (hopefully), fans can go back to BvS and realize that it sucked

At least when you were watching Transformers you were aware it sucked even though you liked it

i dont think so, the 80/90s batman movies didnt really care about details and eastereggs enough to do something like that

did the real focus on fan service/easter eggs start with the MCU?

Absolutely. You had small bits in other films before it, but the MCU is where they started putting real effort into it.
