Forgot that it was reported earlier that a source found out that the costume is inspired by the Noel story arc so it could be grey and black afterall with the green ranger type of chest/shoulder piece.

That does look cool. Don't know about the color of the utility belt though. The brown looks weird with the rest of the costume.
 
Haven't read through this thread. But I'll weigh in on the batman v superman debate

Supes is one of the easiest heroes to beat...kryptonite bullet to the chest, it's happened multiple times in the DC universe. Once it gets under his skin, nothing but more kryptonite could get it out. He has a huge whole in is invulnerability, that's the great equalizer.

yeah but batman is also one of the easiest heroes to beat, super punch to the face

or ice breath or heat vision or throw a car at him or throw a bullet at him or drop a building on him or flick his head off or headbutt his head or slap his head off, etc....

I'm really intrigued in how Affleck will play bats. I would like to see a mentally sick batman. One that's obsessed with justice to the point of stupidity and then a Bruce Wayne who disavows all knowledge of batman or anything about a criminal underworld. Like on some super schizo type ish. It would be a perfect contrast for the all glorious and naive superman. Def could see them going the "I'm batman and I've been saving lives for years, and you can fly??? I'm gonna kill you superman you suck" type route :lol:
 
i have to say i kept heavy on the man of steel. i would of loved to see that in theaters

Couldn't Supes merely grab Batman, fly up into outer space a few thousand miles, then just let Bats go?

Wouldn't that do the trick? :lol:
 
doesn't the new superman have no kryptonite? I thought his weakness was his planets atmosphere 
 
^I think that is just a modernized way of saying he gets his power from planets with yellow and blue suns. His planet's atmosphere would be powered by a blue sun (which would make no difference to the atmosphere irl)

But superman can't kill.

I keep having this argument with my friend when he tries to say superman would win in a fight. Whereas Bats nearly murdered him in the TDK Returns but faked his own death so he wouldnt have to. I even researched if Superman has ever killed anyone and the general consensus is he killed Zod once and hasnt killed in main universe since. Whereas batman has killed a few times and some of those were brutal

but if he wanted to kill batman he would be able to, "he wont kill people" is not a good argument
 
Its a great argument cuz the only way bats is losing the fight is if it is to the death, which isnt a possibility with Earth 1 superman. Anyone would be able to kill their mothers for instance, yet very few would.

Also after rewatching MoS I notced the movie should be subtitled "Explosions for no reason at all"
