Filming could take 6-8 months to a year, sometimes longer. She might not even start shooting til the last leg of the shooting.

Plus we don't know if she is even going to be WW in the film or Diana Prince, chances are she will have a cameo in this film and that is all.

Yeah, this is Hollywood where actors are able to bulk up/tone down for their roles faster than "regular" people. She wouldn't have been in my top 20 choices but I'll have faith that she'll, at least, look the part.

Where were you when you heard the news that you’d been cast as Wonder Woman?

I was just on my way to shooting at LA. I landed at NY in a connection flight when my agent, Hadass Lichtenstein, called me. She says to me “Wonder Woman!” and I’m like “What??” – “The role is yours!…and it’s a secret and the news are not yet announced and you can’t tell anyone…”. I’m saying to her “Are you serious??”- and we both scream! Now it’s a plane from Israel to NY and I can’t make loud noise, and so I lean on a window, bending down to my legs, and just try to understand. Long story short – I was totally alone in NY, I got to a hotel at 12 pm, I needed to wake up in the morning for shootings. I remember laying in the darkness by myself, staring at the ceiling, and I was telling myself “It’s not real!”…it shouldn’t be like that, I’m supposed to be like… “where’s the champagne?”.


It’s been said that you’re too skinny for the part. Wonder Woman is large-breasted, is that going to change?

Hmm. I represent the Wonder Women of the new world. Breasts… anyone can buy for 9,000 shekels and everything is fine. By the way, Wonder Woman is amazonian, and historically accurate amazonian women actually had only one breast. So, if I’d really go “by the book”…it’d be problematic.

It’s the physical preparations that I’m starting now. A very serious training regime – Kung Fu, kickboxing, swords, jujutsu, Brazilian…1,000 and 1 things…I’ll gain body mass.

There you go :smokin This is definitely going to be similar to the Hathaway/Catwoman roller coaster of internet feels until the movie comes out.

Nobody was talking about her credentials as an actress though, "everybody" was complaining about how she just didn't look the part of Catwoman. I still remember all the Nolan jokes about how he couldn't pick attractive actresses.
 
NT can be ridiculous at times in their complaining of movies. People didn't care about Hathaway's acting, their gripe was how she'd look in the costume.

I don't care about Gadot's physique. The question is can she act? As bad of an actress as Gina Carano is, I wouldn't mind seeing her as WW if we're talking look. She can pull off sexy and fit.

That's gonna be the thing. Gal Gadot isn't that great of an actress. She's extremely average, and will be forgettable also. People say to not judge before trailers and all that, but I'm going off what I've seen, and from what I've seen, she's forgettable.
 
Gadot is a below average actress at best and she looks absolutely nothing like Wonder Woman, probably sucks at fighting too. Hathaway just didn't look like Catwoman :lol: Two completely different situations.
 
All yall arguments become invalid every time I see her gorgeous face. Just watch her embody Wonder Woman.
I keep telling yall you dont need to be an oscar award winning actress to play a super hero. She'll be fine.

Gal Gadot is slowly growing on me. She'll make Lynda Carter look like Rosie O' Donell by the time we see her in the suit :smokin

You do know she served two years in the Israel Defense Forces and did all her stunts in the FF franchise? And as posted before, she is training in many more forms of fighting for this film so she will be accustomed to it and will likely be able to kick everyone ***** in here after it is all said and done, if she couldn't already even before training begins.

I am also in doubt of her acting abilities but it's hard to judge her from the FF franchise just for the simply fact that her role isn't that huge in those films, she isn't really the main focus in them and she has no chance to shine except for her looks.

Dude said she can't fight and I simply said she served in the IDF, which means she probably have a leg up with the others in contention for the role, so that proves him wrong.

Zack Snyder is a great director and he's trusted for the most part. Now Goyer is who you have to worry about.
 
I tend to not worry or even pay attention to things like that unless it's too distracting. I liked the visuals and all that, the story and the characters bothered me.

Denzel Washington Considered For Green Lantern In BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN?

The website, Nuke The Fridge, is reporting that Denzel Washington ("Carbon Copy"), is not up for the role of Lex Luthor in Zack Snyder's Batman Vs. Superman, but is actually in the running for Green Lantern.

Over the past several weeks, professional movie scoopers have been warning of misinformation being leaked out from Warner Bros. in the hopes of finding their mole(s). Perhaps this latest rumor fromNuke The Fridge is just that. Or, perhaps it's real. Who knows. 
According to our source, the “Training Day” actor is being considered for the role of Green Lantern John Stewart instead. If this proves to be true, Green Lantern will join an ever growing list of members from DC’s Justice League of America that also include Superman, Batman and Wonder Women.
What's interesting, is that Denzel was involved in another Batman Vs. Supermanrumor just several weeks ago. Think McFly Think reported that Denzel was up for the role of Lex Luthor. If Denzel does sign on, he'll be joined by Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. Zack Snyder's Batman Vs. Superman flies into theaters July 17, 2015.
