DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - Chapter ONE: Gods & Monsters

Got to be darker grey too and no undies outside.

Can't imagine the current bats having underwear outside his suit especially after Supes one piece unitard.

I'd like to see Supes smash through an army of Bat Sentries too, that's one thing Snyder can never fail to give you, just an awesome destruction and fighting sequence.

I got no qualms with the tights/undies.

Its simple and its authentic, might be a good change of pace from all the "tactical" suits we have seen over the years

this would be a refreshing, NOSTALGIC look that would fair well with fan boys......

the tight/undies bats is just as iconic as the spidey tights or supes joints...arguably more...yet we have never seen them on screen....yet

Does't really suit Bats in real life though, the tactical gear/armor makes sense because he isn't as invulnerable as his other friends. It worked for the Adam West show because well that show was meant to be as cheesy as it can be, even the drawn on eyebrows on the cowl works.

For a more serious Batman that you want to believe to be possible, the Nolan tactical gear makes sense. It isn't the best looking visually but it was more believable. I don't really want to see a contrasting underwear on the Batsuit, it works well for the on the New 52 and it's easier for Bats to work with it because his costume isn't colorful and doesn't clash with one another and he has the utility belt to break up the one piece unitard look.

^ Interesting. Haven't seen that before. The gloves are kind of like the ones in the Arkham version. Cowl looks like the one from Long Halloween. The costume itself kinda reminds me of the one in the Ne 52

i hope they teach ben how to fight.
one of my friends is a batman fanatic and said he hope they show off batmans ninja skills cuz he hated how he fought in the nolan series

I actually hope we don't see that much of Batman using hand to hand combat early in the movie. They didn't really show the detective side of Batman in the Nolan series, that's what I want to see.

Every DC fanboy in my comic shop says this. I felt that 2 and 3 had enough. With the reassembling the brick and the finding out who stole his moms pearl necklace.

But I am fully caught up on New 52 and could see how that would be a problem to people who grew up reading batman. Still don't bother me though.

If you had watched Batman the animated series you'd know what ppl are really talking about. This New 52 **** is a sham so far when it comes to Bats as a detective. The movie had none of that.

I also think that's what the Nolan films lacked. I just thought of it as Bats being a rookie and all. For the first 2 films that is. If this next incarnation of his is really a much older/experienced Bats, then they have no excuse not to include his brilliant strategies/detective skills.

i read ONE new 52.

green lantern and flash were lovers.

kissing all willy nilly.

batman,ww,supes, all died.

straight woeful fam.
an abomination against Zod

Even in the Justice League cartoons we saw the detective Bats. Alot of the time the rest of the JLa would be off fighting while Bruce was back investigating and ish . That's what I'm hoping for in the Justice League movie. Don't want to see Batman even throw a punch until the climax.

I knew you didn't watch the show. You didn't need to confirm it.

 @ it being lame and you always getting mad. Check your emotions son. You always so sensitive. The show is lame but you watched JL and JLU. Your hypocrisy is the only thing that remains consistent.

You want to talk about something that didn't bother you and when someone tells you why it doesn't bother you you wanna get all defensive  :smh:

But yeah keep worrying about my elitism not phasing you. I wonder if it's because of your steadfast ignorance?

lol. I aint mad. Unless I am in a professional setting I always cuss.

By your ******ed logic you didnt need to say I didnt watch the animated show. I don't touch that DC trash. I only watched JL and JLU two or three years ago with some roommates. Surprisingly I liked it.

Again elitism aint phasing me. Try harder though. I appreciate the effort. It's adorable

Damn, I was fortunate to watch the first episode of that show at the age of 9. 20 something years later and it still holds up for me. I never thought I would ever see someone say it was lame. Wow.

Show wasn't even intended for kids in the first place. I remember it debuted in prime time on a Sunday night. What I liked about the series is that they never dumbed it down for kids.

The only thing negative you might be able to say about B:TAS is that the animation does not hold up too well. But Bruce's story is unmatched. The creation of Harley? C'mon man....smh
