DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - Chapter ONE: Gods & Monsters

Looks okay, but still not hyped (and will never be)

Also I see they still can't resolve the issue with Bats having to resort to mascara around his eyes ...was hoping we might finally get to see the White eyes effect :smh:

You realize that the white out eyes isn't practical outside of a comic drawn setting?

Suit and Batmobile look great despite my earlier concerns about Batfleck.

I really hope they stay away from trying to make this a Dark Knight Returns movie adaption with the MOS universe. They will have to speed up time considerably to try to adapt it properly and I was honestly looking forward to where they took the Superman character next, not make a Dark Knight Returns movie (which woudl've worked better with the Nolan universe since that was all ready established).

I think the sadderday part about all this is we're losing focus on how this is supposed to be a Superman sequel lol
Almost forgot about that part

I'm curious to see how much of a badass they actually make Batman in this universe...

...ain't enough prep time in the world for him to **** w/Supes the way he was whoopin' *** in Man Of Steel.

I can't imagine Batman and Superman actually fighting in this film

ehh need more pics and dude is right batman will take the spotlight away from a superman movie guaranteed

One punch from Superman would knock Bruce around the planet, I doubt they fight either.

Unless Bats gets that Kryptonite ring to hold Supes at bay.

Just because it may not be practical doesn't mean it's not do-able. It's a movie ...it doesn't have to be practical, it just has to look good for show.

I mean I get why they do it, to show the emotions in the actor's eyes, but it's just one of my little bugbears ...another reason why comics never really translate well into film.

I mean back in the older flicks it was almost acceptable, but with today's CGI I'm sure they could make it work.

It stopped being a MOS sequel the second they announced Batman was to appear. And no matter how much Snyder & co. try to reaffirm that it still is ...anyone thinking this movie is anything other than a Batman reboot with a feature cameo from Supes & the JL is just naive at this point.

As fast or as strong as superman is he's still is and always will be a Boy Scout which is why he never squashes Batman. Just like batman won't kill for some sense of honor, Supes won't fight dirty or use his powers as an advantage over a human that's not an imminent threat. Batman on the other hand has no rules per se. He'll use whatever means he has at his disposal to stop his enemy short of using a gun and killing.

What's been highly overlooked or not emphasized in the Bat movies is his intuitive and high detective skills. Ras Al Ghul didn't dub him the World's Greatest Detective for nothing. Batman is a strategist, plotter, thinker and war game czar. He's 5 steps ahead of his opponent.

If we're to believe that these 2 worlds collide and this Batman is representative of a Dark Knight that's been doing it for years, it's a sure bet if done right, he'll have gained access and learned everything there is to know about Superman. Kryptonite hasn't been introduced, but there are other factors that can weaken Superman and give Batman an advantage.

Brute strength is nothing more than a hindrance if you can't execute well. Zod showed Superman that.

I think his detective skills have been overlooked in all of his movies. This movie will be a good chance to showcase this because Bats never beat Supes in a fight, except in The Dark Knight Returns (Comic) but most of the time he simply outsmarts Supes. Hopefully they showcase this.

Part of that is due to the fact that these films aren't long enough. I mean people complained that Spiderman was too long. Showing Batman in his batcave doing his thing will take up a little time

Why does the bat suit have to have fake muscle definition... :rolleyes

I like what you can see of the cowl, but the more I look at the bat suit, the less I like it...

The more I see the costume the more I love it. Great way to return to the comic book aesthetic.

I still don't trust Zack Snyder to direct a good movie, but I pray he proves me wrong.
